Here you will "visit" a state ratifying convention in order to analyze both the Constitution (especially as explained by The Federalist) and the case made by its Anti-Federalist foes, who argued that small republics and virtue both private and public are the best safeguards for liberty.©2001 The Great Courses (P)2001 The Great Courses Américas

This audiobook is one lecture taken from the complete course History of Freedom.

This brief lecture discusses historical inspirations the founders used for the Constitution.

This audiobook also explains how the founders debated the distribution of power between the States & Federal Government, and the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches.

If you are looking for an audiobook that covers the text of the Constitution verbatim you might want to look elsewhere. However if you are looking for a brief yet interesting lecture on the distribution of powers this is worth a listen.

I liked this book very much, though I feel it's not complete. Presents a variety of resources though.

Would you try another book from Rufus Fears and/or Rufus Fears?

It wasn't what I thought it would be. I was looking for more detail about the constitution.to me it was just another boring lecture you hear in college.
