Wonderful as usual

I’ve loved all the Carmel Sheehan series, book 3 here. So when will the next act be available

ANOTHER JEAN GRAINGER HIT!!!

I enjoyed the book from beginning to end (no surprise — it’s another winner from writer Jean Grainger)!

I loved the story of Caramel, Shariff and each of their diverse families. Caramel becomes stronger and more sure of herself in this book. There are a lot of personal interrelationships highlighted in this book. Like ALL families, people are flawed and that sometimes leads to tension and argumentes, but there There are also several happy endings for several of the characters. I especially loved the “Tim” character as he came to accept himself more and was able to let go of old hurts from his youth.

Best of all, the book was narrated by the incomparable Siobhan Waring! I swear, if Ms. Waring were reading the “Help Wanted” ads or the dictionary, and I’d be hanging on her every word. Ms. Waring has the most beautiful, soft Irish lilt and the most soothing voice (and she does great accents too). I don’t think there is ANYTHING Ms. Waring can’t make listen worthy!

Ms. Grainger and Ms. Waring are a DREAM TEAM!!!💕

Irish Love Story

I can’t get enough of Jean Grainger’s books! And to listen to them is like traveling back to Ireland Siobhan Waring is such a pleasure to listen too!

Great story and excellent narration

My title review says it all…loved the story and especially the narration…. Siobhan Waring is my *favorite* narrator of all time! I pick audio books based on her being the narrator.

This story moved along well keeping my interest

I enjoyed the various characters, the well described emotions and individuality of each person. As the story moved on I found myself loving the expressions of the characters and the culture of each of the nationalities involved. The story held my interest to the end, hoping that it isn’t The END!

Carmel's cousin is getting married in Dublin. The family all gathers to go. Mother-in-law NIna's' highly obnoxious, entitled sister causes nothing but problems on the trip. She makes them crazy and shatters each day until a big blowout. Caramel and a widower friend force themselves to go to reconcile their past in Ireland. Ok story, but weak conclusions to the book and series.
