Publisher's summary

Smudging has been used in many different circles for thousands of years. It is not only a tool to remove bad energies and negative harmony from places that are important to you; it can also be used as part of your spiritual self-development practices on a regular basis. Smudging helps to connect and enhance your spiritual bonds and improves your psychic connection to your goddess, inner counselor, higher self, God, or whatever you choose to call that hidden, helpful force of goodness. Smudging is based on positive intention as well as harnessing the spiritual forces for whatever purpose you need, whether that is attracting abundance into your life or help with getting a promotion or a new job. It can even help you to attract a new mate, friend, or companion into your life, making you feel more fulfilled and happy than you thought you could be.

Some negative vibrations in an area, whether that is home or some other personal space, can have very detrimental effects on a person's mental health. Whether those negative vibes are caused by a bad relationship or arguments or are residue from previous occupants of a house (yes, that can happen, which is why you should always carry out a smudging ceremony in your home when you move into it), they can be removed or neutralized with the help of smudging.

Smudging is not a static ritual; rather it is a ceremonial blessing that evolves with you. You don't need to be an expert in Native American lore or even overly spiritual. Just having a positive desire and natural humility is enough.

It was a quick read, I was looking for a bit more in depth info on smudging

I appreciated how simple this book was, it would be good for someone who has never heard of smudging.
