feel good story of revenge
Cute story of an ex-wife, scorned. The scenery is so vivid you can almost hear the gulls. Sometimes one should choose to suspend belief, and this is one of those times.

Voodoo, Marital Intrigue, and Southern Justice
This would make for a fun Netflix movie. This is a dark dramedy with relatable betrayal, subtle-but-smart magic, and sweet romance. I enjoyed it and recommend it. While I could not relate to the character, I was still able to understand her and feel what she felt.
The narrration is good, but there are a few points where the recording repeats itself. It is minimal, though.
Rachel Ellyn is a clever writer with a clear focus on telling an entertaining story. Her execution is deft and effective.
