Really enjoyed this story
This book held my interest and kept me looking forward to hearing more. Kate Rudd has narrated some of Nora Roberts books so I am familiar with her voice and she did a good job! I wish we had found out more at the end about the wild horses, we don't even know how many or get to hear about how much they would help Seth and Nell. I'm trying not to spoil anythi g so I won't Sat more. Good story, good narration!

Have you listened to any of Kate Rudd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first experience of listening to Kate Rudd performing/narrating. She did an awesome job of bringing Nell to life, along with all the other characters in Caroline's wonderful Old West story. A very enjoyable and engaging story, well worth your listen!

Nice story
This is a nice "happily ever after" story. Nothing earthshaking but an escape to another era to rest your mind from the awful news, world events, etc we are subjected to daily.
The narrator was mediocre. I am not a fan of women's voices trying to sound like men, but she did a fine job.

Wonderful story of second chances!
Charlie Rose is running from trouble and in order to protect his daughter he must pretend he doesn't know her. He takes a job on the Cotton Ranch run by Nell Price and her brother, Seth. During his stay there he finds more than one reason to stay in Logan's Meadow besides making a safe home for his daughter. This story is one that this author is so famous for. She has done her research about the life and times of the 1800s and takes the reader on a lovely journey to a time when life was hard and a bit slower. We get to know not only the town, its people, but take a peek at the way things were "way back then". I loved getting to know Charlie and Nell and revisit some of the towns people from previous Logan's Meadow's books. There are parts of the story that are nail bitting and parts for tears and laughter. I thoroughly enjoyed this journey to Charlie and Nell's happy ever after as well as a couple of other happy endings for some of my favorite people in this book.
