Publisher's Summary

I need a new freakin’ job.

It’s not what you think. I’m desperate to resign from the Werewolf Treaty Federation aka WTF. Don’t judge. I didn’t name this crew of misfit Shifters so hear me out.

After investigating a deadly Jazz Cabbage outbreak, I discover we need a necromancing demon to help solve the crime. As luck would have it, my gay vampyre BFF, Dwayne, dated one of these gems several decades ago. Seems all we need to do is summon his evil butt into this plane of existence and poof, crisis solved. The question is, can we bring him back without causing a flesh-eating, end-of-the-world zombie apocalypse?

With my hunky mate, insane Granny, and flamboyant Dwayne by my side, we have no choice but to succeed. If we don’t, the reveal of our existence to the human world is imminent.

We are Shifters. Werewolves. WTF. Shift Happens all the time. But this time, we’re making sure only good shift goes down.

A perfect ending

This book was the perfect ending to such a hilarious and captivating series. I so hope that there is a spin off in the future. I would love to see more of these wonderful characters. I highly recommend this series. Not only is the author amazing but the narrator is too.

I love this series and want MORE!

Such a rare find - a great story and a great narrator! I laugh out loud and sniffle and tear up with this series that not one book has disappointed! I would love to meet narrator Hollie Jackson and tell her in person how much she makes these characters come to life! Truly talented and appreciated!
I want to be part of this shifter family that comes complete with a BFF who is a gay vampire - I am so loving him! And who could not love him and his were cow children who can decimate anything with their farts! Such a novel twist! I love that there are different were animals as well. SO fun and entertaining since 2020 is a bust read this series for a lighthearted story! Don't get me wrong - there are some dark parts in here that only add another dimension to the story! Its a perfect blend of romance, laughter, suspense and intrigue for me!

Stop after the first book

The first book of the series was really good. Her reason for leaving Hank was stupid and it was NOT “hot” that he stalked her for a year, but otherwise it was good. The second book was good too, except that’s when the juvenile fart and poo jokes started. I didn’t like that Essie sounded so different in the third book, but hey, different narrator. However, she still sounded different in the fourth book when we went back to the original narrator, but a different main character. I hated that Robyn insisted that Junior was a genius, but every time she needed someone to be a bonehead to get a laugh, she picked on him. The examples of geekiness and neediness in the 4th book felt forced and rang false. But the absolute worst was this last book. I felt compelled to finish what I started, but it was hard. I’m not sure what was worse: the bad jokes or constantly being bashed over the head with Robyn’s political agenda. I mean, come on, be honest. How is it that the two agents she used to work with in book 1 were such sexist pigs when they were working for A WOMAN? Also, just a thought here, but maybe Essie’s rookie status had something to do with her not getting the plum assignments. Or, um, MAYBE it was because her FEMALE boss hated her. Maybe the patriarchy had nothing to do with it. And honestly, I could keep going. Just...*sigh* stop reading after the first book.

demons, vampires, cows and wolves oh my!

We are back working with the WTF on a murder case and they need a necromancer Demon to help them. I laughed, cheered, got angry and was completely entertained as characters found themselves happy and others received a verbal smack down. The case was intense; the Bobs learned a lesson, and the ending left me smiling.
Hollie Jackson was back since the pov belonged to Essie. I loved the use of different narrators throughout this series. A first for me.

Seriously laugh out loud funny

The jokes are a little High School, but that doesn't stop it from being funny. I listen during my commute and laughed my head off the whole time. I am looking for more books by this author. I hope they are all just as funny!
