needs a different narrator.

the narrator was unfortunately unable to correctly pronounce many of words of this book which brought the experience of listening to it down by quite a bit. If it had just been technical words being mispronounced it wouldn't have been a problem however; it was common everyday words being mispronounced and making it less comprehensible than it should have been other than that it was a decent book

If you want Shakespeare while you weld.

Multiple times I wonder if the person re reading this ever made an arc, or maybe they paid this person during school as part of a project to read this... This was a waste of a credit. No pdf to go along with it... cannot get past the denunciations.

Welding: your ultimate guide to weld and cut metal review

I was hoping this book would at least have examples of amperage-to-rod settings and suggestions, it did not. I would not label this as “the ultimate guide” by any means. It provides a cursory understanding of welding basics. Also, it advocates the use of asbestos as an insulator is a few points.
The narrator has difficulty pronouncing some of the most prevalent words used- such as acetylene, steel, and arc; and he struggled to deliver the sentences effectively. This book is almost an instruction guide, and requires no enthusiasm or passion at any point, but the narrator felt differently.
Maybe the content of this book is what somebody is looking for, but I am not that somebody. The fact that this listen was only 1h 25min long was what made it at least entertaining.

Was this book written right after electricity was discovered? And the narrator mispronounced half the word. But hey at least I didn't have to read it. hahahahah

Narrator Cannot Pronounce Words

The narrator could not properly pronounce simple words such as "vary" and "gauge". He butchers the word "acetylene", which would make it nearly impossible for someone with no knowledge of the subject matter to ever understand what he's speaking of. The subject matter would be difficult to understand without illustration for someone with no experience. The first 10 minutes of this narration were brutal.

Horrible

It was like nails on a chalk board listening to him pronounce oxyacetylene incorrectly, over and over and over. I don’t know what was worse, his horrible pronunciation or the run on sentences? Leave the welding book narration to people who’ve actually welded...

Not Optional I Guess (said it was)

Words are not pronounced right so it's hard to even follow and distracting. It's like listening to someone read shelf instructions or something. There is no good dialogue. Had to stop after 10min. Hope I can get money back.
