Great story. Good details.
Despite the woke assertions in Nathan's review, soldiers don't get to "side" with or against factions. Soldiers follow orders. As to the sexism, I'm not sure why the simple passing of time is supposed to fix that. It's been with us since the hunter gatherer times and is likely to remain. 🤷♂️ Shooting the messenger is rather pedantic.
The author captured several key aspects of military life and the spec ops mentality. Bravo for that.

Great listen for anyone who drives long hours!
Excellent story, very fast paced, definitely gets the mental images flowing. As a long haul trucker, it is well written stories such as this that keep my mind occupied and alert. The narrator is GREAT!!!
