Genuine Humility

I really enjoyed the story but was disappointed when it ended after just 2 + hours and before Mike’s 1st flight.

Setting detail

My Dad, whom was also a Vietnam vet just passed away 2 weeks ago. I have 2 siblings, none of us have ever heard my dad speak of the war. One week prior to my Dad’s death I pulled out his DD214 form specifically to view his rank and title and if he had received any medals. I learned my Dad was an infantryman in the 9th division. I immediately started researching his dates and whereabouts during his service in 68 and 69. I was baffled, I had no idea my Dad had served his entire service in active combat. This book has literally placed me in the exact spot with vivid details of the setting. I’m hooked and cannot wait to hear the detail in rest of the titles.
