Publisher's Summary
Scotland, 1345.
They call him Wee William. Though he stands nearly seven feet tall, with arms and legs the size of tree trunks and hands as big as buckets, there is nothing wee about him. His scowl alone is enough to make most men's bones rattle with fear. And women, rather than swooning, tend to run in the opposite direction.
The giant Highlander is a self-proclaimed bachelor who has sworn for years that there isn't a woman in all of Scotland worth shaving his beard for, and for good reason. Years ago, after a bonny young lass broke his heart and left his dignity in shreds, he swore never again to put it in such peril. As a testament to his sincerity, he vowed never again to shave his beard.
Then he met her. In a single heartbeat, Wee William was lost. Forever lost to a brown-haired beauty with gray-blue eyes brimming with tears - a woman in need.
On her wedding night, Nora realized she made a terrible mistake. She had agreed to wed Horace Crawford when he promised her younger siblings would live with them. He soon broke his word and sent them away. Horace soon proved a harsh, cruel husband who owned no heart, nor a shred of decency.
On a dark, cold winter's night, when Nora had almost given up hope of ever saving her siblings and herself, God answered her prayers in a most peculiar way. Through a band of fierce Highlanders on a mission to retrieve small but priceless treasures. Treasures she had unwittingly harbored.
Little did the Highlanders know they would return with more than those treasures - they would return with Wee William's Woman.

unforgettable, the best one yet
Would you listen to Wee William's Woman again? Why?
Oh I definitely would! Wee William is my fave character in the whole series and I waited for his audio for seems like forever LOL I think this is the best performance of Brad Wills yet of any I heard so far.
What other book might you compare Wee William's Woman to and why?
There is no comparison, each book/audio has a charm and story that keeps it unique, and this one is definitely unique.
What about Brad Wills’s performance did you like?
Where do I start? Loved the deep voice, the flexibility of switching from character to character, be that woman, man, child, old or young, English or Scottish accents, I wondered sometimes if there is really only his voice. The passion with which he tells the tale is incredible, pulled me in and didn't let go.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, it was, alas real life interferes sometimes, I also wanted to drag it out so it will last longer.
Any additional comments?
I loved the book when I read it, but now having listened to it narrated by the incredible voice of Brad Wills, Wee William is burrowed in my heart for good. There will be more times where I will be listening to this audio. Thank you Ms. Tisdale for a great story and Mr. Wills for telling it in such a wonderful and unforgettable way.

This is a wonderful audio!!
Where does Wee William's Woman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would rank it right up to the top because Brad Will and Suzan Tisdale is a combination that is hard to beat.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wee William's Woman?
When William shaved his beard for the love of a woman.
What about Brad Wills’s performance did you like?
He always shocks me with how he can use a different voice for each character. The little girls voice sounds just like a little girl. How he can keep up with the voice he is using for each one, is beyond me. I am spoiled with his performances so much that I can't listen to any other without compareing them. He could read a phone book and keep my attention. He is the very best in the business.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It sure was!! I have done it before and stayed up all night doing it.
Any additional comments?
I laughed, cried and was very tense with reading this book myself, but with Brad doing the voices for me it just touched me much, much more. Thumbs up to both Suzan and Brad. You are both real winners!!

Great story, fantastic narration!
The dynamic duo of Suzan Tisdale's writing and Brad Wills narration has captivated me once again. I am still in awe how the narrator goes from a small child to a 7 foot tall giant, with a host of characters in between without the listener even realizing the change is taking place it's so well done. The story of the gentle giant and the resilient heroin who captures his heart is very endearing. The same lovable Highlanders we have seen in the previous Caln MacDougall series' are all there and a welcome return.
Absolutely worth the credit! Well done!

Good narration
This was my favorite book of this series. I had read it a few months back and while doing some painting projects around the house and decided I would listen to the story while doing so. Sometimes hearing the book being narrated does nothing for the story, however that was not the case with this book. Wee William is huge, and he is quite the warrior, yet he's also man that understands worthwhile values in life. It's these very values that he wants, and and yet simultaneously he fears responsibility of that endears me to Wee William. To him being a husband and having family is the most important thing a man can do in his life. What's not to love about that? He worries more about what he considers his shortcomings rather than focusing on what it is he has to give someone he loves .... namely Nora. There were times I laughed out loud at the turmoil William had as he came to terms with his feelings. Also, when Duncan's wife goes into labor I found humor in Duncan and William's reactions to the birth. This is by far my favorite book of the series. I enjoyed Williams character in the previous books and he did not disappoint in this book.

Better Plot
If you could sum up Wee William's Woman in three words, what would they be?
Racey
Suspenseful
Less predictable
What other book might you compare Wee William's Woman to and why?
Findley's Lass. It is about the same as Susan's Tizdales other novels, but I think the author had a better plot for this book.
Which scene was your favorite?
Wee Williams rescue of this woman
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Parts of it made you laugh,
Any additional comments?
The wedding scene was a bit more detailed than I would have liked, but overall it was a good plot with good characters in it. It was true to the series.

Good Story
I enjoyed listening to this book very much. The narration was beyond excellent. The story was very good but I felt like it dragged in a couple of spots. But truthfully all in all I give this book 4.5 stars. I thought it was better than the second book of the series. I like the second book but not as much as this one. It does have a little steam to it. Very little. Just enough.

Breathtaking
I just couldn't put this story to bed. I had to find out what Wee William would do. I found myself becoming closer to him & Nora the deeper I fell into their story. I just love these Highlander themed novels. I love the big, brawny, strong warriors. Their presence is enhanced by my imagination. The beautiful lasses also. I find myself researching more of the medieval lifestyle to help me relate & understand the culture, dress & weaponry. The food, traditions & the Gaelic language.
Thank you Suzan for another great story, for your clan McKenna saga & to Brad thank you. I really do enjoy your narration & the life you give each character. On to McKenna's Honour. X

loved it
loved it. several stories in one that combine to tell a great story.
wee William is not a polished man, although he hides an extensive education and is kind, gruff and wise. ..mostly.
Nora has been married to a tool and meets wee William after he comes to collect something off her husband by force. seeing Nora beaten and bound, wee William instantly defends her and rescues her, her siblings and decides to take her back to his clan. I mean not that he cares about her. obviously, because he so totally doesnt, won't everyone leave him alone he doesn't love Nora, women are trouble and he's keeping the beard. yep. doesn't love her. not interested in her.
....until Nora asks the laird to find her a husband.
now he's got to choose if he will let her go.
usually in these books you get tons of posh gits qne every serving maid is secretly a duchess who has a grand fortune. well not here. William and Nora are just your average folks which made this endearing and relatable.
I found myself smiling at Williams antics and Nora's trying to keep him in line.
The other storylines that appear later are much briefer but still lovely.

Another great story
Loved the story with its twists and turns. Narration by Brad Wills was excellent. Looking forward to my next story by Suzan Tisdale
