Too much spanking, not enough romance!

I didn’t realize when I bought this audiobook that this was one of those authors who glorifies spanking in her books (personally I got enough spankings as a child that it does nothing for me, lol). Nevertheless, I decided to trudge on and listen. To me this audiobook was just one spanking and threatening to spank after the other. Now, I like dominant guys just fine- I think they can be very sexy. I just couldn’t enjoy hearing “Now I’m going to spank you for being such a bad girl” one more time. Sorry, but it’s a dud for me, but if you’re into that sort of thing you’ll probably love the story. The narrator did a good job though.

Lots of spankings

In a society where you could only have 2 children, Amy was the third child so she had to stay hidden. She would sneak out of the house and return safely. The last time, she steals a car and is taken into custody when she returned home. There was nothing her parents could do to save her. She is taken aboard a ship in space where she is trained to be a bride. She misbehaves and is punished. She is sold to an alien male (his species is considered savage on Earth) to be wedded on his planet to him and two other males. They all demand she behave and obey them or there are consequences. She tends to be spanked a lot. This was a pretty good book.

Richard Peterson did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

wedded to the warriors

An facinating start to the series. I haven't listened to alien stories before this one and the overall premise is interesting. Earth only allows 2 children. Amy is a 3rd child and although hidden, she lives a pampered life. Her father refuses to buy her a car and in a show of defiance, she steals one and gets caught then shipped off to a detention center where she is sold to aliens that Earthlings think are like cavemen. The plot is basic. Not much going on, but this book is a light escape, and decent for a short book. I would have preferred much more character development, and the book ends rather abruptly, even though there is an epilogue.

Captive brides

Aimee is an illegal third child on a world that only allows two. She is arrested and sent to a detention center to be sold as a bride. Because she is defiant, the warden decides to sell her to three dominant warriors that are considered savages. She is forced to be obedient, but she finds that she is happy to be with her mates. This is a wonderful story that I really enjoyed. The narration is well done!

Liked by not loved.

The narrator just didn’t do it for me. Meaning that his female parts just came of so whiny even when it shouldn’t have been. Plot was a bit weak. Not one of Sara’s best works.

Three Hot Aliens

A whole lotta spanking going on

So first thing, if erotic and punitive spankings aren't your thing, this is not the book for you. The culture on the alien world is such that woman must obey men or they are punished by spankings. If you can't enjoy reading about that kind of world, this isn't the book for you. Now if it IS your thing, I think you might enjoy Wedded to Warriors because the heroine gets herself into trouble repeatedly, and actually enjoys most of her spankings and 'punishments.'

Aimee is the forbidden third child, she's spoiled rotten and full of self-importance. After not getting her way about getting a car from her father she decides to steal one. She's caught and charged with grand theft as well as being an illegal third child and sent off planet to a female detainment center to be trained to become a wife off planet. When her terrible behavior makes her unsuitable for their regular clients she is married off to 'alien savages,' who have multiples husbands for one wife.

Tobias is the elected Supreme Ruler of his planet and Cole and Luke are fellow generals in the Ollorin Skyguard with Tobias. They are all stern and more than happy to spank their wild wife, who can't seem to learn to obey.

Aimee is TSTL, (too stupid to live) and too immature for me, I had hoped she would mature in the story but she does not. The aliens seem too human, and aside from the hovering cabs, some advanced technology most everything sounds very human on their world, the use of the word dude screamed 'I'm not really an alien' as I read. Their food, clothing and even their speech is human. So for realism I give this a one, but for erotic, kinky, foursome, with sadomasichism and domestic discipline the author hits a lot of the things people like to read about, but there's not a lot of variety or depth.

I think that author had the bones of a good story but execution fell short for me.
