Publisher's summary

Get lost...and find what really matters.

You are made for freedom and adventure, friendship and romance. Yet too much of your life is spent unfulfilled at work, restless at home, and bored at church. All the while, you know there is something more. You'll find some of life's best moments waiting for you over a campfire, on a river - even in that coffee shop or brewery you didn't know you'd discover along the way. It's time to begin the search.

In the literary spirit of classic tales about America's open road, this poetic, honest, often hilarious collection of essays shows how to embark on adventures that kindle spiritual reflection, personal growth, and deeper family connections.

From surfing California's coastlines to stargazing Southwestern deserts to fly-fishing in remote mountains of Montana, you'll be inspired to follow Roger's footsteps in your own trips. There you will hear God's voice - and it may help you find what you're searching for.

Warm & enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone

This book was warm and enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys hunting, fishing, or camping, and family time period the author has a very laid back warm feel for the listener. Humour is spread throughout the book so it makes for a light hearted liste, But not so much as to take away from the message and truth of what is important. There are some good truths about Our relationship with God throughout the book.

Such a good book

I really liked this book but the guy reading the book seems so not interested in the book at all. He sounds like the college professor that we all had and hated to listen give a lecture.

A Decent Story

I enjoyed the settings of the story as I am from Montana abd have visited most of the places described in the book. I didstruggled a bit with the cliche' jokes and the jumping around with the stories of trips and kind if got lost a time or two. I do wish the parallels of God and his Adventures would have been more nourished. overall a decent story but the Narrorator John McLain was not my favorite .
