Acerca de esta escucha

From the Number One New York Times best-selling author of the Fallen series comes Waterfall, a novel about love, betrayal, and epic consequences - a world-altering tale told by a girl whose tears have the power to raise the lost continent of Atlantis. This second novel in the Teardrop series is intensely romantic, with strong, hot main characters caught up in a thrilling fantastical love triangle. For listeners who love Lauren Kate and the worlds of Alyson Noël, P. C. Cast, Maggie Stiefvater, and Veronica Rossi.

Eureka’s tears have flooded the Earth, and now Atlantis is rising, bringing with it its evil king, Atlas. Eureka is the only one who can stop him, but first she must learn how to fight. She travels across the ocean with Cat, her family, and Ander, the gorgeous and mysterious Seedbearer who promises to help her find Solon, an enigmatic lost Seedbearer who knows how to defeat Atlas.

Once on land, Eureka is taunted by gossipwitches, a group of displaced Atlantean sorceresses, and ambushed by locals struggling to survive amid the destruction her tears have wrought. And she feels no closer to facing Atlas or saving the world when Solon lets slip that love is Ander’s weakness, and that any affection he feels toward her makes him age faster.

Trying to make sense of the dark world her sorrow has created, Eureka receives startling insight from an enchanted pond. Her bewildering reflection reveals a soul-crushing secret: If she’s strong enough, Eureka can draw on this knowledge to defeat Atlas - unless her broken heart is just what he needs to fuel his rising kingdom...

In Waterfall, Eureka has the chance to save the world. But she’ll have to give up everything - even love.

I liked all of it except the quick ending a lot could of been written

thrilling

Would you consider the audio edition of Waterfall to be better than the print version?

Yes, because the áudio version features along with the story onoroos effects that enrich and help to acclimatise each moment in history

What was one of the most memorable moments of Waterfall?

I loved when Xander discovers about his past.

Which character – as performed by Erin Spencer – was your favorite?

Anyone. I like all.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I have no idea.

Incredible turnaround!

The book itself was interesting. Haven't read a story like it yet using Atlantis and creating a story out of it. Definitely creative. Eureka is a flawed character which makes her more believable, I just had a hard time wrapping my head around the scope of the how this one girl affected the entire world. The performance was lacking though, the narrator was incredibly slow which drew it out too more and made it boring at times.

Good book, performance lacking

After reading the Fallen series I was very excited for another from this author. But this was nothing compared to Fallen. Very disappointed.

Disappointing

Teardrop I truly enjoyed I feel it could of stood alone. It was a solid book. Waterfall tried to bring a new dimension to Teardrop unfortunately in my opinion it fell short.

Sometimes a novel should end.... Instead of dragging it onto a series!

Book two made Eureka out to be one egotistical young girl with vengeance on her mind. Only she could save the world and in the process left her loved ones to die. First book was awesome ~ couldn’t wait to get to the end to hear what happens, the second book couldn’t wait to get to the end just to be over with it.

Not one if her best...

I enjoyed the first book and thought it had an interesting premise. This book, however, not so much. This is what happens when you plan for a trilogy, but decide maybe not. The first 3/4 were build up to an epic showdown. Then she either lost funding or inspiration for a third and was like let me wrap this up quickly. For a book trying to focus on how love will fix the world, she leaves pretty much everyone she loves behind. The whole “I have to do everything alone” mentality gets old. Especially, when her supporting cast keeps popping up to remind her that she’s not alone. At the end,Reka essentially ended up doing to Ander what was done to Delphine.

Boy, that escalated quickly.

I hated this book. I couldn't connect with the main character and with no connection you soon hate the book itself. It was stupid and I feel this cheated the whole teardrop series or duo. Don't waste a second of your life on this.

Horrible

The story was very disappointing. It's full of plot holes and moves just as swiftly as the first book but makes far less sense.

Reasons Why

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. The first book was intriguing but running off across a rainbow and dying! I mean really. ...I normally enjoy lauren kate but it was obvious she rushed for publishing and the ending of a series makes or breaks the book!

What aspect of Erin Spencer’s performance would you have changed?

Performance well done

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Nope

Cheap ending
