An interesting story about learning from tradition, fitting in, wildlife conservation, and not freezing on the ice. As with all of this author's books, he respect and admiration for both the cultures and the animals featured are readily apparent but language has definitely shifted in the 40ish years since its writing, so be aware of that.

Good story, my kids and I enjoyed listening. We live in Alaska, so it was insightful. Hills are compared to breasts on page 56, but it’s not vulgar, and it’s brief.

Great insight into eskimo way of life
