I love the performance of the reader!!The accents, the voices, the intonation..!!great!!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I wouldn't dare to change a word to Mr. Henry James!!!

The reader had a lovely British accent and the character voices were very good as well. I enjoyed it!

while I believe that the work of Henry James should be held in as high esteem as Dickens... I feel this particular work to ring far more shallow than is worthy of the author

Loved this book!

Very good Audible performance. Since the movie "The Heiress@ is one of my favorite movies, I have been wanting to read this book. I loved the formal speech of the time and liked the story. I recommend this classic.
