To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide listeners through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God.

Preaching is hard work. When I first felt called to ministry, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This little book is the kind of resource I wish I had way back when I felt the call to ministry. There were good books on preaching, but most lacked the practical tips I needed. I knew why I preached and what to preach. What I didn't know was how to preach. I needed short, practical tips to get me started in the right direction.

Story
Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with him. It's about experiencing God's grace, not earning his love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like his life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world's values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love, and supernaturally responsive to evil with good.

Story
When a myriad of tense conversations about ideological differences in the Church left him feeling spiritually empty, Niequist determined God must have a different vision for worship and community. In his search, Aaron discovered that there was historical Christian precedent for enacting faith in a different way, an ancient and now future way of believing. He calls this third way "practice-based faith". This book is about loving one's faith tradition and, at the same time, following the call to something deeper and richer.

Story
Dann Spader is a disciple-maker who has spent his adult life exploring what it means to take someone from being a seeker to making disciples themselves. Over 750,000 people in 80 countries have been trained to make disciples through organizations he has led. Through studying the life of Christ and his disciple-making methods, Dann developed 4 Chair Discipling, a simple picture for others to follow. Jesus’ last words on earth had a few very specific instructions: Go, make disciples, baptize, and teach.

In this powerful audiobook, you’ll discover a memorable, simple way to be attentive to the voice of God and courageously obedient to the promptings of the Spirit. You’ll find practical ideas for discerning God’s will, and you’ll hear stories of ordinary men and women - just like you - who are living by the Rule and how it has transformed their lives and the lives of those they reach out to. The 10-Second Rule is a call to rediscover the revolutionary power of simple obedience as Jesus taught it and the early church lived it, before religious Christianity tamed it!

Best Single Volume on Scripture Memorization Available
The House’s have done a tremendous job in creating this resource. I believe it to be one of the best single resources for Scripture memory on the market. If you are just getting started or want to sharpen your skills as a memorizer, this book is for you. The authors are also the narrators. They read with a lot of personal passion. I suggest buying a printed copy of the work in addition to this audio one. That way you better follow the techniques and understand the charts they lay out for memorizing.
