Being transported to another planet and sold into slavery to the highest alien bidder was definitely not on my list of things to do while on my big life-changing around the world vacation… Now I’m in the strong, capable hands of Krix Grayd, a roguishly handsome smuggler who rescued me from being carted off as some alien’s slave bride. Also, he's got wings. Dragon wings. But Krix is a pirate, and helping me get back to Earth doesn’t come for free. I’ve promised to make saving me worth his while, but the problem is I don’t have any space money to pay him with…so what’s a girl to do? Warrior's Taken is a standalone, HEA sci-fi fantasy romance with thrilling interstellar adventure, a roguishly sexy shifter space pirate, and deliciously hot sex scenes! For 18+ only! I have to give this author credit as usually these short romance novels being voice read have been hortible. Although there is not a lot of world building, this author provides enough backstory to keep you interested and entertained. The characters and aliens are fun and provide a few chuckles. The male character is sweet and sexy.

Short, sweet & spicy

I thought this was a cute story but it was kind of short with nothing being really taken but a woman

The story was “OK” I guess but the lack of inflection and emotion in the voice was so distracting I am not sure. The virtual voice also skipped words or at least that is what it sounds like. I had a hard time listening all the way to the end of the book. I then deleted it from my library. I usually keep books to reread but not this one.

The lack of inflection.
