Publisher's summary

Austin Valley appears as it always has, but Em Fuller knows that appearances aren't what they seem. She knows under the surface, that cracks are starting to form in this seemingly well-manicured society. She's responsible for creating these cracks and for planting a slow dissension among many of the residents of this once happy city. Broken in a way Em never thought possible, she turns into a well-calculated, strategic leader. With the help of the brightest minds in Austin Valley, Em begins building an army whose only purpose is to protect the population of Austin Valley from their president, Victor Vider. Em firmly believes the success of her army is inevitable, that is until a new blow strikes her heart and she questions whether she has the tenacity to go on.

Incredible as Always!

The author has created a world in which I wish to live! Sarah Noffke creates a gripping story that doesn't release the reader even after the last word is done. No spoilers here just pure unadulterated enjoyment of a world anyone can enjoy. The beauty of the Dream Traveler books is that each series is self contained with only hints of the other novels. If I were a Dream Traveler I would spend my night reading Sarah Noffke novels!

The ending of this series was amazing!

I was feeling a little down on this series after finishing the second book (Rebels). However, Warriors turned my frown upside down, and just blew me away! The ending of this series was amazing! The final showdown with Vider (and her father) was suspenseful, spectacular, and powerful to say the least. Em’s emotional recovery from losing Rogue was very touching to read about. And also Em and Zack’s interactions…. Oh my! I don’t want to be spoilery, but I will say that it’s been a long time since I’ve cried reading a book, but my eyes were glistening and my lip continuously trembling as I witnessed the heartbreaking moments between Zack and Em. I love Sarah Noffke for writing epilogues for her series! I feel like I can walk away from The Reverians totally at peace, and very grateful for having read this wonderful series.

Book 3

Any additional comments?

the great conclusion to the Reverians series. It is a roller coaster ride of twists and turns. Losing Rogue is one of the hardest things Em has ever had to face. Now, she must lead the Rebels on a journey to overthrow President Vider's absolute rule over the Reverians and Austin Valley.

Book Three, GREAT conclusion

This is book 3 in the Reverians Series.

This series had it all, Love, hate, betrayal, devastation, hope, and in the end knowledge and acceptance of what needed to be done.

Em took many chances, and nothing went as planned for her, with lots of twists and turns, she makes her way through the truth, and won't stop until she uncover's the truth, and makes things right for the whole community,.....

LOVED this series!!!!

Fighting for a fair world

Any additional comments?

I have received a copy of this book in audio format in exchange for an honest review.

In the previous book, after Rogue's death, we left Em, Zach and Nona at the head of the rebellion. Nevertheless, their initial efforts at destroying the drug injected to the defects are not enough since President Vider has taken more drastic measures by surgically modifying defects to become middlings without a will. The future of the people in Austin Valley depends on them, but things will not be easy.

If the previous book was a transition, this one is the conclusion to the story, and we see that sometimes, the smallest people, the unseen, could help to make a difference. Like the previous two books, this one is also steadily paced, not overloading the listener but also not leaving many idle moments. Words are beautifully knitted together creating an unforgettable story where Em, Zach, Nona and some others fight for a fair world.

The story flows harmoniously, and listening it from the voice of Elizabeth Klett is a real pleasure. Her voice and the story are very powerful to hold your attention, making it light at the same time. This is one of those books that I could listen from the beginning to the end in one sit.

This trilogy deserves to be in a place of consideration regarding modern fantasy. It is also cataloged as Young Adult but older adults will enjoy it too, since the young couple romance part is not too overwhelming. I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys a beautifully written story with which also feels fresh and hopeful.

War, and a satisfying conclusion to the Reverians

This is the third and final novel in Sarah Noffke’s Reverians series of young adult dystopian adventures, which is part of her Dream Traveler universe. This is part of a continuous story, so the books in this series are best read in order. It’s an interesting world, and I always enjoy learning about different Dream Travelers and their abilities. The premise is interesting, the plot offers plenty of intrigue, and we get a satisfying conclusion to both the war and Em’s romantic confusion.

I enjoyed some of the dialog, particularly the banter between Em and Parker’s mother Soon-hee, which was laugh out loud funny. Em can be frustrating at times, but at least she seems relatively aware of her own flaws.

There’s not much nuance here, which made the story difficult to believe. The good characters are often unbelievably good and self-sacrificing, while the bad characters are unremittingly evil, although Ren provides some refreshing moral ambiguity. If you like dystopian stories and you’re able to suspend disbelief, it’s an entertaining read.

Elizabeth Klett did a good job with narration. She’s easy to understand, her pacing is good, and I enjoyed the character voices. This story works well as an audiobook.

I was given a free copy of this audiobook by the author and volunteered to provide an honest review.

A wonderful Sci-Fi series that never lost traction

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely. Most series start to stretch the plot the more the series runs on, and I think Noffke knew exactly how to keep the world of Em alive and fresh, without overrunning the original work.

What did you like best about this story?

The twists and turns were amazing. Most I couldn't catch coming, and I didn't want to put this series down!

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Klett – was your favorite?

I'm still a major fan of Em, and even more so after the revelations revealed in Warriors. As mentioned in reviewing her previous books in the series, the relationships Noffke depicts seem genuine and unforced. All of her characters bring a new addition into the novels, but my vote still goes to Em.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. In the revelation of why Em's grandfather is who he is. You'll have to read the book to find out why, but I think this beautiful and emotional moment was one that really made this book strong.

Any additional comments?

I didn't want this series to end! Brilliant and one of my new favorites!

Epic Conclusion!!

Ok I can finally say it. ROGUE!! How could you? ROGUE!! I had to take several days to mourn this character. He was my favorite character in all of Noffke's series. I have a crush on a dead guy.

This is an epic conclusion! Once again I was blown away by Noffke. I have the biggest book crush on this author. I just haven't met a dream traveler that I didn't love. I mean even the villains I adore. I got to listen to the audible version of this series and loved it. I loved it so much that I bought the Lucidites series in audible too. The narrator did a fantastic job and I found her voice to be a perfect fit.

The rebellion begins and Em is out to save the Reverians whether they want it or not. I think it is a impressive concept. It took me until this book to realize how sheltered they really are. I mean small things that didn't know what they were from history to helicopters. It is a little shocking. I realized they were sheltered but not that bad. It brought a new perspective to everything.

The characters were well done. Em is by far by favorite other than Rogue. She is strong willed, brave, and rash. I just loved her personality and how she can continue and do what needs to be done. Now someone needs to say it but all the crazy and sassy old women crack me up. I was laughing out loud over everything they said. I hope one day to read more about Dee. I really liked her even though she is evil and want to see where she ends up.

Wild ride with a wonderful ending

I really enjoyed how this series worked out in this third book. We see so much growth from Em and Zach and the other characters who are fighting to right the wrongs in their society. There is heartbreak for the loss of Rogue and there was joy when Em and Zach finally admitted their feelings for each other. They went through hard times and struggles to break through the lies and mind control of Vider. I was happy with how he was punished for his crimes. I love how it ended with all the possibilities opening up for both dream travellers and middling alike. Nona is one of my favorite characters in the series, I love her spunk. There was times I laughed out loud over some of the things the characters would say. I like how things were resolved but enough was left for the reader to imagine the future. Wonderful story!
Again the narrator made the story even better. Have a listen and you will agree.

Pretty Darn Amazing!

***This audio book was given to me in exchange for an honest review****

4.5 stars

I can't believe it's over!

Wow, this was a special series! I absolutely loved it! There were well developed characters, interesting world building and magical system and not one but two heart warming love stories (without there being that sticky love-triangle dynamic).

Like the book preceding this one, this book starts months after the end of the last book. In this missed space of time a lot of the war effort happens. I understand why the author does this (both times), but I couldn't help but feel like I would have rather she covered these periods of time. So the book starts out with Em and Zack well into the war effort and making headway bringing down the government. The whole thing played out in a very beautiful and epic way, but again, I wanted a little more. A little more of the other rebels, a little more of the middlings and their transformation into revolutionaries. Also I would have liked a little more exploration into the time travel.

But, I guess if your biggest complaint about the end of a series is that you'd like there to be another book, the series is pretty darn amazing.
