When they were coming out of the vault I didn’t expect the guard to see them.

I loved the whole book and definitely recommend it to other readers that like a book with action in every chapter.

Another gold

Well written, well researched, well developed characters. Hauntingly significant for our times.
My grandchildren got me into Alan Gratz books, and he never fails to take you to the other place and time. As a teacher realistic fiction is the best way to enter the past and look around. I always enjoy his authors notes at the end.

Such an exciting story filled with timely and important historical events. Would be wonderful for a book club.
