This book chronicles the first 13 years of my life growing up in Wallins Creek and the impacts it has 66 years later.

Roger and I give you stories and information from fellow Creekers to give you glimpses of life in a small American town in the 1950's that exemplifies the tough, ingenious, honor, family, independence, strength and pure goodness of mountain people.

Terribly disappointed in both the dialogue and storytelling. Description is very misleading. Read by AI and not very fluently.

I could not get past the terrible computer voice.

I resorted to turning down the volume to zero and let it play to allow me to review. This story deserves better than the flat, less than single octave, uninspired and disengaged computer generated voice that narrates what could have been a delightful audio book experience.
