Walking in the Boots of a Police Officer

Most people don’t get to see into the life of a police officer and even more, live it. I have had the honor of being married to my best friend and amazing police officer for almost 20 years, Troy Zeeman. Through Troy’s 25-year career in Law Enforcement, I have seen the ups and downs of this job through his eyes. I thought it would be a great opportunity and have him join me today and touch on a few topics that we as civilians might have the wrong perceptions of.

Our guest this week is Detective Troy Zeeman who has been in Law Enforcement for over 25 years. During his service, he has had many different assignments such as Patrol, Gang Units, and Traffic Investigations. Troy has received 2 medals of valor awards and a chief citation for his heroism. He has worked in many diverse areas from the impoverished to the well-to-do. This gives Troy an understanding of lifestyles that most of us can’t imagine.
