Good story bad male narration

What a good story but sad part is rock Engle is a really bad narrator. He ruined it for me. If Stephanie Wylie’s had done the whole thing by herself it would’ve been much better. He was awful. I’d still listen however I’d have to cringe every time he read.

So much more

This audio is so much more. More than I anticipated, more than the cover led on, more than the blurb even led on. Just so much more. I loved it.

The characters were beautifully flawed and it left me wanting to see them succeed so desperately. The storyline was something so unique that I couldn’t even begin to guess what was going to be happening next. For someone who reads as much as I do, it’s so fun to find a book that can completely blow you away and is something you haven’t heard or read before.

The narration was fantastic. Stephanie Wyles is a new name to me, I believe, and she was amazing. Perfect for this insecure yet strong character. Rock Engle isn’t a new narrator for me and I love his narration. Although I don’t associate his voice with a super hot guy when I initially start listening, I’m lost to his acting abilities very quickly because he is so talented.

Sexy??? Not hardly

How this book got so many great reviews, I am not sure. 80 chapters could have been done in half that. Loooooong story, premise is good, just too much irrelevant writing.
If you have the AE package, give it a try, otherwise don't bother.

Not your RUN of the mill unrequited romance

I've listened to many teacher/student romances. I was pleasantly surprised that this book had a very unique storyline. The narrator's did a great job and made the book just that much better

Wow!!!

This has to be one of THE best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to! It’s a slow burn romance, but so worth the wait! I’ve never fallen so hard for both main characters in a story before. Both narrators really brought the story to life and did an amazing job!! This author will be a one click for me going forward!

great story & A+ female narrator, D- male narrator ..

This story captivated me. I fell in love with Olivia and Will and their story. I didn’t like Jessica the OW, Olivia’s evil dad and the last 1/4 of the story which felt contrived and unnecessary. The female narrator was great both as female and male voice but the male narrator was TERRIBLE!! His narration really ruined some moments for me.

These Narrators are HORRIBLE

What in the world? First, please don't let Rock Engle ever narrate a romance book again. Stephanie Wyles sounds like she is in front of a speech coach. Just terrible.

Wow

Now, let me tell you that I don't write reviews and you've probably heard this before. Even my favorite books, new and old, I have never felt the need to respond. This book gave me the urge to.

The story was gripping and real. The character detail and progress are amazing. I've been rut recently trying to a book that entices me, keeps me locked in. Finally, I found a great romance that I didn't want to end. (So glad that I'm out of this rut.)

The romance between Will and Olivia is spectacular and swoon worthy. With enough push and pull to keep your heart racing and frustrated at the same time.

Olivia as a woman is strong and after all she has been through, she still has a innocence to her.
Will progresses in into a real man, instead of just a boy with model body.

I give the narration 4 stars because sometimes the voices bugged me. They occasionally became monotonous and their opposite sex voices could use a little work, but really it was still good. I would listen to their voices again.

Hope you read it and enjoy it as much as I did. I'm off to read my next O'Roark book. Hope I'm completely out of my rut on stale books.

K. P.
