you are in for a treat

Started off quite slow and hard to follow. Once it picked up and I grasp the storyline, nothing short of amazing, especially the end.

Ghostly romance

This book was done well by both author and performer. The little twist at the end was superb.

Great book

The story was very interesting. The narration was engaging. Loved the southern drawl. Definitely recommend this one.

Great listen but….

Loved the story but the lack of hesitation at the end of a chapter and the beginning of the next was a bit hard to follow at times. Will definitely continue with the series

Enjoyed the story but have one complaint...

While I'm enjoying this series and, in particular, loved this plot and story line, I found myself nearly ready to stop listening because of the 'southern accent' the narrator used. As if every single southerner is a full out buffoon with no intelligence whatsoever. Notice how the guy with the PhD sounded exactly like Ezra T...the mentally challenged guy. I live in the south...grew up in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky right on the border with Tennessee and Virginia. I might have known or met 5 people in my entire 46 years of life that sounded like his interpretation of a southerner.

Precisely in the genre

This book is listed as a romantic mystery and it delivers exactly that. A tiny bit predictable in some places for someone who reads a lot of mysteries but very much worth the read IF you are into romance mysteries. On to this author’s next novel!

Enjoying the series

I’ve read the reviews for Bronson Pinchot’s narration, and they’re mostly negative. While I can’t account for other people, I think he does a fine job. Switching up character voices, especially with southern accents, can be tricky. That said, the storyline is a little odd with the male romantic lead into paranormal activity and the female lead devoid of any softness. Despite their quirks, it was an entertaining read/listen and I enjoyed the pair by the end.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Ha! I usually know who”done it” this one took me by surprise. I like the fact that Kylie Brant writes books of women that have become stronger from the traumas and fears from their past. Becoming a force to contend along with their alpha “sidekicks”. Enjoyed listening to Bronson Pinchot narration.
