Seriously Soloman is the best!!

At the beginning I was confused. There are many references to other horrible things that have happened to these characters mutuel times. Since I thought this was the first in the series I now have to wonder if it’s some type of spin off.

Upon getting to know Wake I am not sure why he isn’t claiming his mate. I thought that’s what all wolves waiting their whole life for? I really felt sorry for Paige. She wants him but he denies her so she tries to move on.
My favorite parts and character all include one guy....Solomon the Vamp. He cracked me up with all his crazy words. I loved his whole “best friend” thing he thinks he has going with Wake. This character was needed to lighten up the story.

Overall it’s a good story once I got past a few things. I really liked Soloman and Ford as my favorite characters. This is a first time author for me. The story was nicely done and the characters were sad, dark and a bit of fun. I did listen to this on audio and Troy Duran and Sarah L Colton did a wonderful job.

Troy Duran's Voice Though

Oh wow! Where has Troy Duran's voice been my whole life? His voice was perfect for Wake and Sarah was awesome too! This was my first book I read by Michelle Dare! What a great story and made me so emotional! Highly recommend this book!!!

Wakes claim is the first book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series by Michelle Dare and takes place after the events of Arianne trilogy. I already have read the book and wasn't disapointed in this audiobook. Really recommend it. Really good.

Wake Can Claim My Heart

I had already read Wake's Claim and then I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook. I feel even deeper in love with Michelle Dare's paranormal world. Wake's audiobook is amazing, Troy Duran and Sarah L Colton do an amazing job bringing the story to life. I felt all the emotions, passion, and love in Ms. Dare's words.
Wake fights his wolf, who knows Paige is his mate. He feels inadequate and self-conscious after being taken advantage of by another paranormal who put him under a spell causing his life to implode. Even though he loves and knows Paige is his. He just can't bring himself to claim her but also can't help guarding her every night. As the book progresses, Wake matures and realizes he cannot fight fate but fate may not always be kind in the paranormal world.
Paige loves Wake but feels hopeless about their situation. Trying to move on isn't easy and as she moves through the story she becomes a much stronger woman than she appeared in the Ariane trilogy.
I am the first to say I'm not usually a paranormal reader but I love this world created by Michelle Dare. Her characters have become like old friends. Their relationships are all so close and intertwined the reader gets caught up on others in the world. I look forward to each and every book set in this paranormal world.

Not a fan of weak @ss paige

I came to like and appreciate the vamp bros Ford and Solomon b/c they were a positive influence fir Wake and helped him. It took a lot but Wake finally admits to Paige being his mate and commits to keeping her safe. I liked how the pack stepped up for paige. I was ticked at paige for starting things with Silas. She knew she was Wake's mate and nothing would come but trouble so she caused it. Dumb human girl! After all they had been through goofball paige wants a ring?? How frivolous, she's already mated and claimed. Dumb human. Stupid vapid girl. The narrators were good.

Shifter Vampires oh my!

Enjoyed Wake and Paige’s story. This is the first book in this series I’ve read so I didn’t understand the back story but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this book. I will definitely be looking for the previous books to see how it all began. Both narrators did a great job

Wow! I loved Wake and Paige’s story! I also loved seeing all of the other Avynwood residence, and the Vampire Bro’s, oh, and let’s not forget Kylest! The story was amazing! I am so happy that Wake finally accepted love! The audio and Narrators for this audiobook were great! I cannot wait for more!

This was my first time ever reading/listening to Michelle Dare, and she has me hooked on this series! PNR romance isn’t even my favorite, but The Avywood Series is sooo entertaining!!! The plot flows smoothly and the characters are well developed! You will even love the secondary characters!!

Wake is a wolf shifter who feels he is better off being by himself because he doesn’t trust himself to keep his mate safe. Paige is human, also his mate, and while she understands his why, she decides to move on and date other people. Oh boy! That was just the kick in the butt Wake needed! 😂

Needless to say, Wake realizes his mistakes really fast. But, Paige’s life is in danger, Wake, glues himself to her side. Is Wake capable of keeping Paige safe? Will they seal the mate bond?

Troy and Sarah are freaking amazing!! I could listen to them all day long!!!
