CALLING: Yet another aggressive and potentially destructive practice common to Social Media and specifically people who contributed on the Tube. Basically “calling” is when your on-line enemies or detractors have backed you into a corner verbally. Some might dox you, (share personal information) others might pick up their phone. For example, they might call your place of employment in an effort to get you fired. They could just as easily call your spouse pretending to be a disgruntled lover. Or maybe CPS, in an effort to have your children taken away. Call your landlord, the police, the FBI, your parents, the list goes on. So many ways to mess with a person’s personal life simply because you didn’t have a clever or effective come-back to something they said. Of course there were many people who needed little to no motivation to behave so badly.
The man who’d just been found dead sitting in front of his computer was one such person.
