Seeing ghosts can be a curse, or it can help solve a murder
He posed her on display for me to find. Our small lake town used to feel safe and normal, well except for my dad’s ghost in my old Chevy Nova. The safety is shattered when this killer begins hunting.
The sheriff wants me to work closely with the detectives to tell the behind the scenes story of catching this sick killer. He hires me to report the case on my podcast. That would be great if the detective wasn’t my identical twin sister. The sister that rather I move back to Indianapolis that work with her.
When someone close to me is taken, I’ll do whatever it takes to save her. If I have to talk to ghosts to solve the case, that’s better than dealing with my twin sister. With a little help from the “other side” can I find her before she too is on display?
If you love small town mysteries with a touch of the paranormal, you'll love this book.

She still hasn’t moved, hasn’t made a twitch.
Just a few more steps. Keep focusing on her face. Her unnaturally pale face.
My heart races in an uneven patter. My chest hurts. I drop to hands and knees, unable to control the shaking of my legs.
Not now. I don’t have time for a panic attack.
Over the whooshing of blood in my ears, I hear shouts behind me and the zinging of the ski boat, both growing closer.
Long tendrils of green sea weed snake up from the black depths of the lake, seem to reach for me through the gaps of the pier’s planks. I swallow hard and steady my breath. The sea weed isn’t going to hurt me, no matter how scary it looks.
The boat zips by and the wake hits the woman’s chair. She slides further to the side. Her sunglasses fall from her face and splash into the lake. The hat blows away. The arm that dangled into the water, sinks to her shoulder.
Now that I can see her clearly, it’s definitely Jenny.
Wake up. Wake up.
The chair tips awkwardly, she makes no move to save herself.
Still on my knees, I dive onto the pier, the rough edges of the wood cutting into my belly.
She spills from the chair and I grab desperately. My panicked fingers wrap around her wrist as the water covers her face.
