If you have ever sat in church and said: This doesn't make sense.

If what you believe isn't the truth, would you want to know it?

If so, this book is for you. We are going to discuss the tough questions that many people have about God, Christianity, and the Bible.

In the title of this book I make a bold claim. I state that you are not really a Christian.

Did you know:

• Christ never said he came to die or take on your sins?
• Christ never taught about the resurrection?
• Christ never said there is original sin?
• That according to Christ and God, there isn't a new covenant?
• That according to Christ and God, there isn't vicarious atonement?
• That the teaching of "none righteous" contradicts the teachings of Christ and God?
• That the teaching of "without the shedding of blood there is no remission" contradicts the teachings of Christ and God?
• That the teaching of "faith counted for righteousness" contradicts the teachings of Christ and God?
• That the teaching of "being saved" contradicts the teachings of Christ and God?
• Why are the books in the New Testament deliberately out of order?

Don't lie to me!

That's the thought I had that motivated me to search for the answers. I will provide extremely detailed proof of everything I am discussing in the "Evidence" section of this book.

A true Christian follows the teachings of Christ. I will prove to you that you may not be a true Christian because you do not follow the teachings of Christ. Furthermore, there is a high probability that you don't even know the original teachings of Christ.

We are going to discuss the tough questions that many people have about God, Christianity, and the Bible.

so I guess i'm having trouble keeping up with the narriator because he talks pretty fast and then skims over passages .

Succeeds inHighlighting Church's Doctrinal Errors

This books content is somewhat "helter-skelter" in that it often jumps from concept to concept and the narration (by the author) is "uninspired" but passable. However, if those issues are set aside, the author provides EXCELLENT, scripture-based critiques of much of today's Christian Church's errant, misleading, and often entirely false doctrine. I gained the most from chapters 4 (Christ Never Said That! The True Gospel According to God and Christ), 5 (Paul Twists and Changes God's Holy Scriptures), 6 (How to be Saved), and 7 (Christ Did Not Teach About the Resurrection). While I did not agree with all of the authors individual arguments and conclusions, I did find myself in concurrence with the vast majority of them and the sheer volume of scriptural evidence in support of his conclusions made it difficult to side against them.

This book should be devoured and digested by every person who is a believer and follower of Jesus so that they can ultimately decide for themselves if they are currently following life-giving, life-saving teachings of Jesus, or being led astray by the impotent, corrupted, "anti-Christ-like" teachings of the Church.
