So authentic…(minus the fun supernatural flare)

This was a fun read (listen). I love how the author blended authentic investigative challenges and techniques with some supernatural flare! I’m a Philly girl originally and the author also did a fantastic job of highlighting local neighborhoods, food, and traditions!

interesting and grounded

I really liked the plot and how the FBI/cop characters seemed realistic in their approach of pursuing justice within the confines of their job. it was a unique flavor than what you would expect. Overall. highly entertaining and the reader was very good.

This was a wonderful supernatural thriller and I enjoyed every moment! I am waiting for the next one!

The author, Darin Werkmeister, crafts an explosive thriller that seamlessly merges the supernatural with crime. His writing is detailed and concise, with well-developed, essential characters. He masterfully builds suspense and plot twists that keep the audience wide-eyed and captivated. Also, Werkmeister presents a fresh and captivating perspective on werewolves.

As the narrator, Darin Werkmeister, skillfully interjects appropriate nuances and levels of suspense enhancing each situation and character. He masterfully slips into each character easily further immersing the listener into the narrative.

This is a tantalizing, suspense-filled book that has something for everyone. As a fan of supernatural and classic monster creatures, I found this book unique and well done!
