Just the Word with No Frills

What did you like most about (17) Proverbs-Ecclesiastes-Song of Solomon, NKJV Voice Only Audio Bible?

When you just need the power of Gods Word or to hear something that speaks to your spirit without your mind getting in the way, this is the one I use - e.g. no drama or 'interpretations' - just the plain words so you can interpret for yourself.

What other book might you compare (17) Proverbs-Ecclesiastes-Song of Solomon, NKJV Voice Only Audio Bible to, and why?

Haven't heard another reading like this one; the nearest is Max McCleans maybe

Did Bob Souer do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

Yes, it was accessible and understandable without making a 'drama' out of it. There is less of the human and more pure God, so a more healing experience overall.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

What a strange question - its the Bible - it makes you live!

Any additional comments?

If you need the Bible for wisdom, or to heal you for something, this is good. Sometimes I wish it was more spacious with pauses and slightly more varied intonation but someone else may want that different again so its a 'middle line'. It took about 5 listenings (of up to 20 mins) to get used to the voice. I have other books in this series too.
