to much self-love promoted with this volume. The concept of vocal awareness is good, but the new age stuff isn't for me.

Cult Indoctrination or Voice Lesson?

I listened to the first hour, took a break, and listened to the second hour. Then I got a refund. The first chapter is really weird. If you substitute the words "spirit" or "soul" for "voice," this is a creepy cult indoctrination, full of pseudoscience, misunderstood physics and completely unsupported claims. There's even an unnecessary part explaining that you feel ashamed to sing because your voice box is a vagina. I couldn't make this stuff up.

So I took some time to try to cleanse my pallet and give chapter 2 a chance. Not as bad, but almost nothing to do with the voice or actual singing. Just an hour of getting you to breathe lovingly, whatever that means. Maybe the last 3/5 have something of value, but I couldn't trust this guy around my throat-vagina anymore.
