Publisher's summary

Inside Hollywood’s descent into dreary, dull, leftist groupthink.

Hollywood’s Dream Factory is now a nightmare of woke restrictions, identity politics run amok, and freedom-snuffing rules and regulations. The Oscars are unwatchable, as are many films and television shows thanks to the woke revolution. Virtue Bombs breaks down where Hollywood went so wrong, illustrates the slow-motion disaster infiltrating the industry, and offers a glimmer of hope for a woke-free tomorrow. Award-winning film critic Christian Toto has all the receipts, showcasing Hollywood’s virtue-signaling follies and how it could get much, much worse before it gets better.

A Great Primer for the Unititiated

In recent years I began noticing that little by little, the movies a TV shows being produced were changing - and not for the better. If you are having that feeling too, this book will open your eyes to the motivations for those changes. Why did the remake of “Ghostbusters” throw away everything fun and entertaining? Why has the action movie genre tried to change the physics of fighting? 100 pound people generally can’t take down a dozen trained fighters the size of NFL linebackers. Ben Shapiro chronicled the start of the anti-conservative trend in his book “Primetime Propaganda.” This book provides an update of the current state of conservatism in Hollywood and theorizes on how the messaging from the right can regain some standing.

A chronicle of Hollywood wokeness

If you’re looking for a chronicle of Hollywood wokeness and hypocrisy, this is it. I was already aware of much of it as I follow Youtubers like Nerdrotic. I learned a few new things but I wished he’d delved deeper into the financial drivers behind the woke mob as in how they extort woke Hollywood to contribute to wokeness financially.
