Publisher's summary

Vinas Solamnus: soldier, nobleman, priest.

Vinas Solamnus: rebel, commander, conqueror.

Vinas Solamnus: author of The Oath and the measure and founder of the Solamnic Knights.

No knight was ever nobler, more spiritual, more idealistic than Vinas Solamnus...but he wasn't always that way. The story of his early years, his education, and his crucible is truly one of the most famous....

Very well written

Absolutely amazing book. Deceit and treachery at it's finest. You don't have to know anything about DnD to enjoy this title

good for the genre

this book deliver exactly what is promised. from the prologue we know how it would go. which does mean following the story isn't fun.
there are several issues which feels very old, but this book is quite old today.

One of the best Dragonlance books

One of the best Dragonlance books not in the main series of books. This along with the legend of huma are the best of the books not in the main storyline.

Epic knighthood

This deserves 6/5… one of the best DragonLance novels I have read… while just a single novel, King brings to life the founder of one of fantasy’s greatest knighthoods… so
Good!

How Could You Not Enjoy It?

I mean, it’s Liam O’Brien reading a fantasy novel. To me, it’s a combo as perfect as PB & J. Some things just work well together.

Surpassed my expectations

I must admit, Before I read this book, I didn’t think I would like it. From the previous books in the Dragonlance library, I thought I knew the story of the main character, but this book made me cry, cheer, swell with pride and then do it all over again. Such a great story and really enlightening. Must read.

Was not disappointed

As a long-time fan of Dragonlance and a Critter, I was ecstatic and not disappointed with Liam's narration of this story. Hands down, he has been the best narrator I have heard in the multiple Audiobooks I have listened to over the years. well written and well voiced story.

Fantastic read

Fantastic read, love the story, good narrator and just plain entertaining. Weird that reviews now have to have a required word count.
