Valerie Grantham can't sleep without seeing something strange. A town carnival. A place she's never been. People she's never spoken to. All except for one. This man, at the end of the recurring dream, is one she somehow knows . . . and one she must save. Strange visions are difficult to remember upon waking, but one image always sticks out in her mind. A sign at the curve of a two-lane road. This road will lead to the end of many destinies.
