John enters the pastoral world of Pokopia while also returning to Raccoon City in Resident Evil 9. Rose played many games, including Resident Evil 9, Nioh 3, Marathon, Slay the Spire 2, Trails Beyond the Horizon, and Mewgenics! Lily played ULTRAKILL Layer 8: Fraud, Trails to Azure, Monster Hunter Rise and numerous Next Fest demos, including Annihilated, Cicadamata, and Firestarters. Finally, Nikolas has also been playing ULTRAKILL and Mewgenics!

In the news, Nagoshi Studio is in danger of shuttering, Nintendo is suing the US government over tariffs, PlayStation isn't going PC ports anymore, Xbox is officially making a new console, Pokemon Winds and Waves was announced, Highguard is shutting down, a new Hunter: The Reckoning game was accidentally revealed, and Cookie's Bustle is free from spurious copyright claims.

John also explores Arknights Endfield and older monster tamer games like Jade Cocoon and Robotrek. Jackson supplements Romeo time with 360 classics Tales of Vesperia and Final Fantasy XIII. Maverick talks about his experiences at MAGFest, the Denshattack! demo, and Skate Story and UNBEATABLE.

But that’s not all! After a break for Game of the Year celebrations, The Gamesline Podcast is back in full swing. This week, John sits in the host chair and is joined by Lilith, Nikolas, and Rose to talk about everything they've been up to. John finished up Trails in the Sky First Chapter and started up Bravely Default while Rose played Trails Beyond the Horizon. She also got up to Abiotic Factor, Blue Fire, and Dragon Quest 1 HD. Lilith has been playing Trails to Azure, Pathologic 2, Void Bastards, and Game of the Generation Nioh 2. Meanwhile Nikolas finished Fire Emblem 3 Houses and started Fire Emblem Engage and is also playing Koudelka while they wait to start Final Fantasy 8.

In the news, MindsEye's CEO is accusing people of sabotaging his game, Nintendo had a partner showcase direct and Overwatch 2 became Overwatch. It seems we're also getting a Poker Night at the Inventory remaster along with rumors starting about more Xenoblade coming. I guess Sony is also doing AI Podcasts now too.
