Close proximity done right. Redemption done well.
I loved how their love flowed. It felt pure with a HEA. I will say the male narrator was great but the whole time I thought he was eating some of the food the cook Teageus was making. Kinda distracting.
The banter between them was top tier. And I just love how even though he tried to act like he didn’t care, but just could t help himself.

Vibration connection
I’ve listen to several of KC Mills books and have enjoyed them all. I can personally relate to being involved with a complicated man, but true Love always prevails.

Monotone, but…….
The narrator’s performance was very monotone. I didn’t hear one ounce of excitement in their voices. I wonder if they were tired, but I wouldn’t advise listening if your are tired as it will put you to sleep. However, the story is good. K.C. Mills didn’t disappoint - I just wish she had better narrators on this one. I’m a diehard audio listener but if I still purchased books, I would pick up the paperback for this. The story is worth it!

New to me narrators
Although I have my favorites, these two definitely did Justice to K.C. Mills work. I love the author so I was excited!
