Publisher's Summary

A queen's fury. A king's madness. The Fae have come for blood.

Witch Queen's War (Book 7)

There's a turning point in every war, but I didn't expect this one to be in my front yard. Allies of the Fae king have moved against the military stationed in Saint Charles. Our unsteady alliances are threatening to fracture, providing the water witches and vampires an opportunity to strike. With losses on both sides, things are far more dire than we realized, and the return of a long-forgotten enemy has made that clear. Thankfully, I know a very grumpy parrot.

Forgotten Ghosts (Book 8)

A necromancer's fear. A family's fate. An ancient spirit with a new alliance.

I shouldn't have told myself things couldn't get any worse. They did.

As Nixie struggles to unite the water witches, the Fae king discovers a spy in his ranks. We're forced to split our focus and our powers between the unrest in Faerie and the rising tensions in Falias. When Nudd's latest gambit puts humanity’s most dangerous weapons into his hands, we can't let anything stand in our way. We'll need help from new contacts and trusted allies if we hope to stop the Fae king's madness.

But the award for worst timing in history goes to an old friend: Vicky.

Brace yourself for supernatural thrills in this chilling installment of Eric R. Asher’s Vesik series! This collection includes books 7 and 8 of the Vesik urban fantasy series.

Wild Ride

I got this set via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. Ok, I went on a wild ride in books 1-3, missed 4-6, and got back on the train with these two. Now the narrator took my brain and staring firing synapsis all over the place. Yes, the stories follow a pattern but you don't really get lost when you skip some. Stories twist and turn and come back around and leave you wanting to spend the whole 24 hours listening. I set my timer so if I fall asleep I know to go back 15 or30 minutes and catch up. You really don't want to miss a thing.

Asher's books just get better and better

After listening to the first books in this series I was hesitant to try the next set but when I was offered a free copy for review I couldn't help but give them a listen.
All I can say is wow!!
These books are AMAZING. I really enjoyed a lot of things about them but my absolute favorite would be how deep the sadness and straight to the heart some parts are, specifically a part that happens with a ghost and his guitar.
I really appreciated the narration as well. I couldn't stop listening. I actually fell asleep one evening listening to it without bookmarking where I was at and when I had to jump though chapters to find the spot I left off on I noticed how well Dufris's voice conveyed what was going on just by his tone. I highly suggest giving this book a listen.

Keeps getting better....

You will have to have read the first 6 books in the series (which are available in box sets of 3 each) to appreciate these books. If Anita Blake and Harry Dresden had a baby it would be Damien Vesik. A fun and wild mix up of mythology, strong characters, and just enough American history and lore to make it unique. For fans of urban fantasy, this is a must read series.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

EXCELLENT READ!

I absolutely loved it! This book caught my attention from the very beginning and held it throughout the entire book. The narration was superb and gave the story that extra flair! The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I love that you get 2 stories in this book. I look forward to reading more books in this series! Old Friends!

It's been awhile since I have listened to Vasik. So when I saw this I jumped on it. It was great to revisit with all the familair characters and love the new ones, especially Ghost.
