Amazing Dark Gothic Victorian Paranormal Romance!!
This is the second book in The Victorian Gothic Trilogy, a brilliantly written Dark Gothic Victorian Paranormal Romance. You have to listen to this series in order. Adelaide and Eldren's story continues where the first book left off. The storyline is suspenseful, intriguing, and captivating, filled with twist and turns, secrets, danger, mystery and romance. The mystery is intricate. The supporting characters are intriguing. The world building is original, and enthralling. Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson are fantastic narrators. They have a great range of voices, and some are chilling! I love their voices together. The audio quality is spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend it. Now, I can't wait to listen to the conclusion of this amazing trilogy, Passage of Shadows. The team author/narrators is awesome!

A delicious & mesmerizing 2nd installment!
If the first title in this series didn't have me on the edge of my seat, this one most certainly did! INCREDIBLE job done by both writer Chastity Bowlin and narrators Lillian Yves & Vincent Lee Grayson! Their vocal range is pitch-perfect for all the characters in this series, and it could not be more phenomenal! Seances, true to the era of the time, hexes, and malevolent family curses abound and their voices blend to narrate this chapter of the trilogy splendidly! At times it is difficult to determine where one starts and the other takes over (done on purpose, and to perfection), and all of the characters are voiced in such a way that it is impossible to stop listening once you've started (as with book one!) This is a must-listen and was a true thrill ride, I cannot *WAIT* for the conclusion of the series although I will probably re-listen to the first two before the last arrives on audio as they are both THAT GOOD! Note: I received this title for free in exchange for my unbiased review, although I would have raved to the rooftops about this series had I purchased it on my own! A perfect series for the perfect time of year!

Gave me chills
This serial just keeps getting better! This is the second book and it is just as good as the first. The writing itself is amazing and keeps you guessing in twist and turns that will blow you away.
The performance team is so amazing. I love thier dual narration and how it fits together so seemlessly. The range of accents and personalities they both have is amazing. There are parts of the narration that gave me the chills.
This book has everything romance, suspense, creepiness, and is so well rounded. A must listen to!

An Excellent Tale For The Season
Despite the fact that this is the second book in the trilogy and the story is unresolved, I loved it! I want more. The performance of the two narrators was stepped up from book 1. They both cover many different voices that really show their talent. The chills in Book 2 are intensified and Adelaide Llewellyn's home, Cysgod Lys is, alive with intrigue. Chastity Bowlin wrote an excellent follow up story and I look forward to finding out what happens next.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook and promised to give an honest review.

Absorbing, Riveting, Captivating and Spellbinding
I absolutely loved book two of this series last..just as I loved the first book.
The twists and turns, the mystical, the slow reveal ..the characters both main and secondary cause you to love or hate, fear or wish to protect, to admire or reject..the desire for power...the twisting of history...the revelations kept me enthralled and entertained.
Both of the narrators were incredible in voicing their characters..as if I were watching a play performed.. Grayson is a new narrator to me and I enjoy his performance. I have had the pleasure of Lillian Yves narrations in other books and she always provides a stellar performance.
Please please please have the audiobook three come out soon.
Also not to say these of the author, I love the way she provides suspense, romance, and does a wonderful job weaving and writing her stories!
I received a free audiobook for an honest and voluntary review...this completely honest review..I’d give it 10 stars if I could

The Plot Thickens!
Chasity Bowlin, the author and the pair of amazingly talented narrators, Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson have continued their excellence in their combined production of the continuation of this serialized story.
I am really loving the two main characters, Adelaide and Eldren. We are beginning to see Adelaide's strength of character coming to the fore as well as a change in attitude in Eldren.
I love it when an author is able to get one to really hate the evil characters and what they do in a story and is is certainly one of Chasity's in this book.
I still maintain what I said about the narration in my audio review of the first part of this serial, "Seriously, I think this is one of the best pair narrated audios which I have listened to so far.
"Well matched voices, superb expression and even a bit of eery background thrown in at appropriate moments."
There is one more part to this and I can hardly wait for it to be released.
My review is based on my thoughts and impressions after listening to a promotional copy of the audiobook version and it is unbiased and given voluntarily.

captivating
I am completely enthralled with this series. This is book 2 and it may be read as a stand alone but really - I highly recommend you read book 1 first to get the most from it. This storyline is captivating. The narration is perfect - I love when a book has dual narration, it just adds more, and these two narrators come thru flawlessly. The secrets that are reveled in this book only add to more mystery and questions. Adelaide is fighting for her place in her husbands cursed home and with new friends becomes more aware of herself but to what end we have yet to know...ending on a suspenseful note I can't wait for book 3 in this romance read.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
