Publisher's summary

If you love sweet romances (PG rating), look no further than Rachelle Ayala's Have a Hart series. The Harts are a family of San Francisco firefighters. Their family motto is: "Heart comes first".

Fashion designer Jenna Hart's wedding turns into a media circus when her wedding planner signs her up for a reality show. Each week, the producers challenge her to keep her wedding on track while performing an unpleasant task or working with difficult people.

Firefighter Larry Davison wants Jenna to be happy, so he goes along with the reality show despite hating to be on camera. When the show digs too deep into his past, he has second thoughts about both the wedding and Jenna's celebrity lifestyle.

Will their ring bearer, Harley the basset hound, bring Jenna and Larry together to tie the knot in the season finale?

It can be listened to stand-alone, although characters from the previous audiobooks appear here in supporting roles. Harley Saves The Day!

I am a bit conflicted about this story. It was certainly well written as Rachelle Ayala’s stories always are, however I think maybe I am just a bit out of touch with the whole reality TV thing. I just don’t get how humiliating someone and being cruel to someone on TV is entertainment? Thus I found the story a bit distressing. Plus the fact that Jenna and Larry didn’t really communicate their feelings very well with each other caused even more problems. I really wanted to like this story as much as I have all the others in this series, however it just didn’t appeal to me. I did enjoy Harley and it was fun how he ended up saving the day! I can’t honestly give the story more than 3½ stars, however I do look forward to the next book in the series. Jennifer Groberg does a nice job with the narration and I love the way she howls for Harley. Lol! . I received a free copy and am providing an unbiased review.

Valentine Wedding Hound

A lovely installment in the Have a Hart series.

Jenna and Larry are planning their wedding on a reality show. Can they make it to the finale or will the challenges and dares tear them apart?

Rachelle Ayala gives us another sweet romance with a fantastic narration by Jennifer Groberg.

Will she dare?

Jenna and Larry are in the final preparation stage for their Valentine's Day nuptials, when Cait signs them up for the wedding reality TV show 'Will She Dare?'. The show is hosted by Amy Suzuki...whom we met in Roaring Hot...and features engaged couples competing in several 'dares'. The couples win numerous cash and other prizes throughout the show. At first, Jenna was hesitant, but when Cait mentioned that it would mean exposure to her clothing designs, she agrees. As the show progresses, the dares become more challenging, and while Larry seems to be going along with it...is he really happy with Jenna's choices? The show really tests the love and commitment of the couple, and forces them to self examine their motives and feelings. Even the loveable basset hound, Harley, is caught in the middle. As with all reality shows, this one provides much drama, comedy and betrayals. Will Jenna and Larry's relationship survive?
Another great Hart family book! Can't wait to see who will make angsty Grady fall to his knees!
I voluntarily accepted a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest review.

A sweet, clean romance with humor!

This is another installment of the Hart Family series. The series is clean, sweet and humorous. Ayala throws in an over-the-top reality show into the wedding planning for Jenna and Larry for a funny, fast-paced read. It's not all hearts and flowers for the couple. Will their love survive the shenanigans of the reality show and end in marriage, or will it be the end of their love?
I listened to the audio version of this book. The narration by Jennifer Groberg was very good.

Jenna and Larry's Wedding?

Jenna and Larry's wedding is about here. They have agreed to be on a reality show that pits bride-to-be's against each other with dares that I thought were pretty mean. Larry doesn't care about the prizes but he wants Jenna to be happy so he goes along with the show. Of course, there are some misunderstandings when Larry's biological mother shows up for the show and his ex-fiancee. We get to catch up on previous Hart family members but the book can be read without know the family.
Will Jenna finally realize what is important to her- which is Larry and not the reality show. Will Larry finally stand up for his own happiness?
I can't wait for the next Hart story! Rachelle Ayala authors a wonderful story and Jennifer Groberg narrates wonderfully, too.

Made my day!

Ms. Ayala yet again puts her best foot forward with this delightful concoction of lighthearted fun with a hint of emotion. Short with a sweet message and a lovable plot line, Valentine Wedding Hound made my day.

Let a loved one save the wedding

This was a great short read. It brings you love , laughter and mystery and lots of twists and turns .
It involves a pet a hound named Harley . With some magic Harley brings together the Hero Larry with the Heroine Jenna .
Both Larry and Jenna have been together for a while . Both Larry and Jenna can’t believe the day is drawing close to try the knot.
There is one problem and hopefully that problem won’t ruin it for them . The problem is a reality TV show that wants to take apart the wedding and their lives

First time I listened to the narrator Jennifer she was real good

Love vs. Reality TV: Which one will win?

They say if your relationship suvives the planning of your wedding, the two of you will make it through anything. But, what if you have the whole world watching? Valentine Wedding Hound: The Hart Family (Have a Hart, Book 5) by Rachelle Ayala, narrated by Jennifer Groberg focuses on Jenna, Larry, and, of course, their adorable dog Harley. We are again invited to join the entire Hart Family in another unforgettable episode of their lives....yes, I said episode. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but when Jenna and Larry agree to be part of a wedding reality show, complete with a host who only cares about ratings, rather than the relationships of the engaged couples, their love is pushed to the ultimate test. You will have to watch...I mean listen...to find out if Jenna and Larry's love is strong enough to survive the world of drama, betrayal, lies, hopes, and dreams.

This is Ayala's best work yet. Not only are we re-introduced to the characters we know and love, but we get to know them on a more personal level. By revealing each character's true colors, whether it's out of greed or goodness of heart, she brilliantly does so by putting them in a situation we are all familiar with...reality tv. As Jenna and Larry are tempted with goodies they've only dreamed about, secrets are exposed and feelings are hurt...but the show's ratings are thorugh the roof! Hmmmm....why is it we love to watch reality shows that clearly set couples up for failure and heartache? In the long run, is it better for the relationship to find out certain truths? Or, do these shows take it too far? Ayala takes readers/listeners on adventure of ups, downs, laughs, and tears, while keeping focused on the real question: Is Jenna and Larry's love strong enough to survive?

The performance by Jennifer Groberg is excellent. She has narrated each book in the Have a Hart series and has made my overall experience that much more enjoyable. Her interpretation of the characters is perfectly conveyed through her voice, inflection, and tone, while the emotion she brings to the piece sets the mood. She has a way of inviting listeners to join her as an active participant in the storyline. She makes me feel right at home in each of the Hart family adventures. :-)

I loved this audiobook and was thoroughly engaged from start to finish; I felt like I was watching every single part of the plot unfold before my very eyes. I often found myself questioning what I would do if I were in their shoes, and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. If you love a clean, thought-provoking romance that's filled with emotion, relatable characters, familiar situations, and drama that only reality tv can provide, this book is for you! It is entertaining and enjoyable both as a stand-alone novel and part of a series. With confidence, I give Valentine Wedding Hound: The Hart Family (Have a Hart, Book 5) by Rachelle Ayala, narrated by Jennifer Groberg 5/5 stars across the board.

Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)

Love this series!

I love this book, it pulls together so many of the characters of this series into a crazy, love filled, suspenseful, back stabbing, misunderstanding filled story! Jenna and Larry are getting married! But this is no normal wedding. It's part of a reality TV show with dares attached to it. Larry is a private man and since his accident, lacks a lot of confidence. To keep things happy, he agrees to go along with whatever Jenna would like to do, whether it pleases him or not. Jenna loves being in the limelight, but with this show begins to realize her relationship is one sided. The antics these two go through is at times funny and others hurtful. A lot happens with sabotage and people from the past coming into the scene all wreaking havoc on the happy couple. Is their love strong enough to withstand all the pressure and craziness? I love Rachelle Ayala's stories, they always bring a message to the forefront. Communication and honesty is so important, and through an exercise like this show, it is evident how hard it can be! Having the Hart family around and seeing the progression of their stories as well we getting to know Grady a little better is a plus, but in the end, Harley for me steals the show! That dog is just amazing! Looking forward to Grady next!

Jennifer Groberg is the voice of the Harts. She infuses the fun and antagonism between the siblings and voices the love between Larry and Jenna. She is a delight to listen to.
