Emotional family story

Unwoven Ties is unlike any other Bethany Lopez book I've read. It's a gripping and emotional story of a family impacted by a tragic accident, and trying to rebuild when a miracle does occur.

This story is told from the point of view of Kelly, Sean and Jacob. Getting the POV of their child is such a unique find, but it added so much more to this saga. Although it's relatively short, it's really impactful.

What a tearjerker! Loved it!

Grab your tissues and settle in for a wonderful story!! A family torn apart by an accident that has the wife/mom in a coma for years. Dad and son have to move on…then she wakes…imagine everyone has moved and you have to adjust to the new normal. I really love this storyline, it sucks you in and you will quickly become invested…fugly crying and all! So glad that there is an HEA!!

Great Read

Unwoven Ties was a great read by Bethany Lopez. This book is an emotional story of how a family’s ties are tested when tragedy happens. In an instant a terrible accident and explosion changed everything for the Talbot family. They must reevaluate their relationship, the path of their lives and themselves due to the fallout. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Unwoven Ties by Bethany Lopez is a family life fiction that I listened to on audio narrated by Audrey Barnes.

This is the forth book of Bethany's that I have read and it won't be my last. This book is different from her other books that I have read but I really enjoyed it. The story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. I really enjoyed getting Kelly, Sean, and Jacob's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Audrey did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I previously read Unwoven Ties by Bethany Lopez in her monthly newsletter and loved it. She recently released it in audio and I could not wait to listen to it. Narrated by Audrey Barnes, this was an emotionally charged and angst filled story of a family torn apart by circumstances beyond their control and how it impacts their lives. Kelly, Sean and Jake faced the unimaginable together, could they find their way through it? Life-changing decisions needed to be made, but their love was felt in every word. I absolutely loved this story so much. The characters and their journey captivated from start to finish.

Emoitionally charged

Life can change in an instant, and this story of by Bethany Lopez takes us into the life of Kelly, Sean and Jake as they navigate their new normal. The prologue is powerful as we find out how tragedy strikes this family, and now 5 years later are finding it hard to relate to and work through. Told in all three points of view, it's interesting how different they each see their situations. Kelly and Sean have the most to get through, as their marriage is at stake. Lopez is raw and honest with their feelings and the difficulties they face. Jake has grown from 12 to 17, so life for him is hard enough as a teenager. Now trying to balance his girlfriend and family life is hard. And the addition of his problem shows how strong a family unit can be. This is a break from Lopez's new adult stories that I am used to listening to, and I love her versatility in writing this family drama. It's heart wrenching and heart warming , giving us all the feels.

Audrey Barnes is new to me and I enjoyed her performance. She did well giving each personality their own spin. I did have a little difficulty at times with voice changes but for the most part, the story flowed at a good pace and her sound was pleasing to the ear.

Sean and Kelly

Wow this story gets you right in the feels immediately. This is a great story about how you just never know when life deals you a curve ball. This is a tough storyline with so much good stuff. Narration was ok, the narrator has a great narration voice but didn’t use different voices for the father and son so a little harder to keep track. I recommend this story. Sisters Spotlight 💕
