Publisher's summary

Dr. Erica Rosen’s world is turned upside down after a suicide bomber explodes amidst a large crowd entering Oracle Park baseball stadium near her San Francisco home. Many are killed or injured, and police have no leads in solving the case.

Erica becomes involved after a teacher of young autistic men calls her. The teacher believes her students are involved in the bombing, but is afraid to contact law enforcement. She reaches out to Erica, who has experience with special needs children.

Erica arrives at the school but finds the police already there, and a young autistic man doing a jigsaw puzzle, oblivious to his murdered teacher on the floor. The young man has information about the mastermind behind the bombing, but has limited ability to speak. Erica is determined to protect him, prevent further bombings, and find his missing classmates.

Absolutely Magnificent Listen!

Deven Greene tells a magnificently thrilling story in Unwitting. I have listened to anything from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. I did read the print version of the story, and enjoyed it, but I also really enjoyed this audiobook. his is the second book in the Erica Rosen MD series. Erica is one straightforward, strong-willed and compassionate person. Dr. Rosen is dragged into a case of a murdered teacher, when one of her students is with the body, and he's autistic. First, the story is very well-written, and written with authority and conviction. I love Erica, and she's real, bringing the reader right into the story. This author has a great imagination and I'm glad it's being shared with stories. It is always a joy to read this author's stories. This author is not just a writer but a great storyteller. This story was intriguing and kept the reader guessing. This story captures the reader's attention at chapter 1. The author's technique of raw, magnetic characters and great plotlines is a gift. It's a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. This author's characters develop and interacts well with the other characters. Unwitting on audiobook is a definite listening recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to listening to many more titles by this author. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who listens to this book, to also write a review.

medical drama

This interesting, nail biting story starts with news of a suicide bomber, with the race on to find the person involved. Once I started I could not stop listening
Narration was good

similar to today irl

The greed, prejudices, and corruption were bad enough, but the autistic kids being used/involved
was pure heartlessne on the part of the perpetrators. This was so suspenseful and heartbreaking!!! Great conclusion. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.
