Narrating ruined it for me
This is the first audiobook I have just stopped in the middle. I couldn’t listen to the narration for another minute. I’m sure the book was good, but sadly I will never know unless I actually read it myself.

Some parts really hit home
I’ve been struggling with my sobriety for a little while now. This was a good, reaffirming listen about my choice. “Sobriety is about making the next right choice.” I’ve lived it before and know it’s true.

Not just a hot mess catalogue
I love how this story flows with humor and honesty when it comes to being sober. Her story feels a lot like mine, though she’s clearly better with words…guess I need to run a marathon now!

The narrator ruined the author’s story!
Couldn’t get past the painfully awful performance of the narrator. I’m sure the story deserves more than one star, but when read by someone other than the author, it comes off as totally disingenuous.
