Story
When his mother became president, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius - his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, US/British relations take a turn for the worse. Heads of family, state, and other handlers devise a plan for damage control: staging a truce between the two rivals.

Story
It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska. A sexy, cocky Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive. When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually tense nights in hotels, and taking unplanned detours. My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. Great story but the narration isn't very good
I have truly enjoyed this series, I really looked forward to Matt's and Claire's story, nothing worse than loving someone getting up the nerve to let them know and than have an accident that changes your life and you don't want to be a burden on them. The gives a delightful romance that really gives you the true meaning of love. I thought she gave wonderful characters with true passion. I loved the plot and characters. It has a nice ending that leads into the next book of the series.
I had a hard time with this narrator, there was no emotions given or not enough to make it believable. He would drag out his words. I didn't hear any repeating of words, there were no volume changes but the way he narrator made it hard to finish this book. I didn't really care for his character voices made it was the dragging of the wording that took away from the rest of his work. For me this was not worth the listen. I finished it by reading the book.

Narrator
This nareator was horrible. The characters are from London. This guy didn't even attempt the accent. He also sounded very "feminine".
He made the one scene sound like they were just having a casual conversation.
The really tense scene, the character called 911, but did nothing to let the operater on the phone know you're in danger. I guess that is on the arthur. That just poor writing.
Also, why would you talk about sex and not say something like "put the knife down" or "please don't hurt her".
This was just stupid.

Unveil your heart
Mathew is in a terrible accident that has left him blind. He spends his time re-evaluating his life and what he should have done.
His girlfriend and co worker helps him to try and accept his blindness but to no avail. I wish I had read book 1. I felt that somethings were left out that I should have known. It is still a good book. The narrator did a good job narrating the different characters.

Sweet Story-Making Me Think "How Would I React?"
💕This is a wonderfully written, sweet book. I loved it.
Matthew has lost his sight, due to a car accident. He does not like relying on anyone, especially Claire, a gentle soul who is willing to do anything for him. He feels that she pities him, he could not be further from the truth. Claire has loved Matthew and yearns for him as much, if not more than she always has.
A plot that twists and turns, explores relationships and feelings, with action and adventure – this is a wonderful book! I will look for more of the books in this series, Unveiled Hearts.
I enjoyed James Scarlett's narration, as well. He is a talented voice performer.

Clair has more men issues than she first thought. Her stubborn boss won't admit his feelings and her ex starts bugging her even though he is with her sister. Not My Cup of Tea
I asked to read a free copy of this story for an honest review. I've listened to several stories by this author and they've all been pretty good. This one, on the other hand, did not live up to its predecessors.
Narrator:
Right away I knew I was going to have issues with this narrator. Was he trying to sound sexy or extra smooth? That's the vibe I was getting. First issue: he would drag out the last word of nearly every sentence. Second issue: the random laugh, chuckle, sigh that he would read about and then do or the other way around. I say random because he didn't do it every occasion one of these actions were read. Third issue: there was no difference between the male characters and narrating voice and the same can be said about the female characters. I wouldn't recommend this narrator. Sorry, guy.
Story:
As someone else mentioned in their review on Audible that this was, in fact, a stand-alone book, I have to disagree. There were just too many side stories: 1. Danny being shot. 2. Matt is in the car accident. Both taking place as soon as the story starts. That means that both of these events happened at the end of book 1. 3. Claire's secret admirer. 4. The murders that were happening. I just felt like I was missing pieces to the story, but that's my own fault since this is book 2.
I found it strange that the dinner party at Clare's mother's house seemed to be an important event, yet, her and Matt get there, talk to Reese and Nolan a bit, and then suddenly Matt's asleep in the car. Did I miss a section of the story? All the talk of how controlling and negative Claire's mother is and then she's not even brought up at the dinner.
Now, I don't know if the narrator just messed up on this or not, but there was mention of someone being happy with their four-figure salary. Lol Unless the person is poor, I find that most would not be happy with that kind of salary.
What was with Claire? She and Matt had known each other for a good while, yet, he lies or misleads her one time (not telling her he could see) and she's ready to throw in the towel?
Nolan being Claire's secret admirer wasn't surprising to me considering how much of a controlling weirdo he was throughout the story.
In the end, the story was okay and I wasn't a fan of the narrator.

Worth the read.
Matt is a perfect example of selflessness, he truly believes Claire deserves someone better than him he is willing to deny himself to let her be happy. Little did he know that all she need is him.
There is a saying, Jackass don't know the use of its tail until it loose it. Seeing another man kissing Claire scream lost to Matt, and that is what spurs him into action, and he suddenly decides he wants her.
I connot believe Matt's 911 phone call, it is just plain silly. He expects the operator to figure out what is happening quickly enough to send help. Such unnecessary delay that could cause detrimental consequences.
I have nothing good to say about Claire's mother, she needs he head examined.
I was not impressed with the narration, the characters voice was not distinctive. I did enjoy the book though, it was worth the read. I do prefer book one. I will read book three next and see how it compares.
