Helen wanted to break the cycle she was born into.

Raised in the deserts of Southern California by a family plagued with addiction, poverty, and trauma, Helen’s life was full of heartache and turmoil. Nevertheless, her circumstances fueled her desire to make it out. That was until one day, she broke.

When Helen wakes up in a mental hospital, her mind is shattered, her memories are gone, and she clings to the comfort of not remembering. But when a memory of her daughter emerges, Helen realizes she has no choice but to unearth the painful truth and face her past.

Through dual timelines, listeners will be immersed in the intricate tapestry of Helen’s life, gradually unraveling the events that led to her broken state.

Untitled for Now captures the difficulty of breaking chains, the essence of mother/daughter relationships, grief, and finding forgiveness for yourself. It is a novel for those who revel in the lived experiences of others and want to know that even the saddest stories can have a happy ending.

This is a beautiful story about pain, dysfunctional families, forgiveness, and healing. If you have trauma, it could be a trigger. However, carefully read and enjoy the lessons of healing through a very rough life.

I loved everything but it also broke my heart. Helen endured so much pain but still came through.

This is a true story and written so well.

This book was sooo amazing I loved everything about this book. I loved how it jumped from place to place from different time events that came throughout the book. It was very straightforward and it really brought my attention and wanted me to read more and more. I cannot tell you how much I love this book and I could not put this book down. This was the first book that I have read that has made me cry. I’m not going to give any spoilers but what part that is, but it was the best crying moment of my life 😂. I will definitely recommend this book to anybody! This was a five out of five star read!!!🥰😆

I've read the physical copy twice and now have the audible version. The author, Desiree Moore, narrated the audio book herself. Hearing her voice and knowing her story has brought forth so much more emotion than expected.
