There are a million reasons why I shouldn’t date Fletcher Huxley.

Until It Was Love is a banter-tastic romcom featuring an overgrown snack of a man with a soft spot for his purse dog, a normally optimistic life coach trying to live her best life, a mustache catastrophe, and one little tiny fainting spell. It stands alone and comes complete with a swoony happily ever after that will leave your heart in a happy puddle of joy.

Was it love?

Fletcher has a mustache and he’s that grumpy sunshine thing going. Goldie (honestly love that we get a main character with this name) is a fun extrovert. That’s a quick and easy intro to our couple.

We get a lot of the typical Pippa writing, which I like, but sometimes feels repetitive. It’s like comfort food though and I really like that aspect.

Fletcher though, felt like he had a few red and yellow flags. And yes, I know people can evolve and learn, but sheesh, at his big age?

Goldie is fun though and I love that she had an older girl gang. I can relate to that a bit. It’s nice being able to get along with people of all ages.

Still, the story fell short for me, but the narration? Amazing. Samantha and Jason did such a good job and it once again did that magical thing of elevating the whole experience for me.

Really Enjoyable

I’d missed the town, some of the old characters, but mostly I enjoyed this introduction to new ones. What a fun second meet cute they have. A new twist on falling in love. Coming from similar backgrounds, these two help each other to heal and find love.
This is the Pippa Grant I love!

Funny, well worth the time

Absolutely love Pippa’s story telling abilities. She has a great since of humor and a talent so phenomenal that the stories are fine and easy. All the elements are there and seamless. Recommend!

Playboy falls!!

Pippa’s books are one of my favorites to listen to in audio because she nails it with her choice of narrators, in this case, Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor.

Goldie Collins, a former soccer star & current life coach with big plans for her future. That is until Fletcher Huxley, with his broody attitude, awful mustache & dog he carries in a pink baby sling, shows up on her brother’s professional rugby team in our favorite hometown, Copper Valley. Goldie has preconceived notions about Fletcher but he is bound & damned determined to change her mind. He & his little dog, Pipsqueak too!! I enjoyed this new cast of characters as well as cameos of our old favorites.

Wonderfully sweet and funny

I loved this story. It had me truly LOL at some points. I really love a grumpy jerk who really is a softie. I do wish we got a little more resolution with the dad but over alI really enjoyed this story it was fun with fantastic characters and great banter. Narration really made it all the more entertaining.
