There is profound truth in these messages.

MacDonald writes from a simple and clear understanding of the invitation that is the Gospel, to hear what God is saying to you, and to do it.

How else may it be stated, and still remain; TRUE ?

I’ll keep it short, and true.
The ones of this human race, who know the Lord, and God, Heart to heart,Spirit to spirit; and by HIS doing, not ours .
They are allowed to meet with God, Face-to-face in their soul; they know the value of this collection of sermons .
The ones who know “of” Jesus, as a figure from the Bible; may grow anxious for this to be ended…
because of the depth of the subject matter !
Not that they are dense, or ill-fitted for understanding; not at all !
It is just that only the Holy Spirit, can open ones human spirit; to receive deep truths about God Himself .
If that is not done, then it will seem like a chore to endure while one is listening to this; however if the Holy Spirit has opened those secret channels of the human heart, this selection of sermons would be to them viewed…
As happening upon a patch of wild strawberries, when they were lost in the forest; and very hungry .
Again, anyone who knows the Lord, Heart to heart; for real…
Totally understands what I’m talking about, and the perspective of where I speak from .
Those who only know “of” the Lord from the Bible, probably thinks I made this up .
(After all, without Jesus turning on the lights; the room stays dark) .
God may be living in the soul, but if they don’t put attention on Him; and ask for permission to meet with Him Spirit to spirit, then Jesus is just our God…
(we’re not yet his child) .
Once we ask our Lord, to adopt us His own…
Jesus pulls us into His soul with Him, right up onto His lap; and squeezes us to His chest, and just loves on us like a REAL Father is supposed to love their child !
The fact of the matter is:
Anyone who wants to know God in the way I’m speaking of, needs only ask Jesus to, “allow me to know YOU the way YOU want me to know YOU” !
Because God living in us, is a matter of us asking; but us living in Jesus, is a matter of God pulling us into HIS soul with Him…
Spirit to spirit !
Which yes, is also in a matter of asking; but if we don’t know we CAN ask, we surely won’t do it ?
So let us begin by asking:
“Lord God, holy Jesus, what questions would You have me ask You; help me to understand the answer, and respond the way You deserve !
AMEN+

These sermons deserve to remain umspoken.

i would discourage people from listening to this book. the sermons are at times wholly unrelated to the verses from the Bible.
