Publisher's Summary

Unspoken truths will be revealed - and they will change everything - in this dazzling final chapter of the Shadow Falls: After Dark trilogy!

Della Tsang is facing the toughest fight of her life - and the most personal. In her new role as an elite paranormal investigator, she's assigned a 20-year-old murder case...and the accused killer is none other than her own father. Making matters worse, since she was reborn, she's been bound to the mysterious and infuriatingly gorgeous Chase Tallman - a vampire with his own hidden agenda. Della still feels betrayed by all the secrets he's kept from her, but she'll need his help to find out the truth about her father. But what about Steve, the hunky shape-shifter who she can't seem to forget? The quest for answers will lead them into the darkest, ugliest supernatural gangs in town...and into the scariest reaches of their hearts.

Disgusting

There's nothing more disgusting than listening to a guy talk about how much he wants to have sex with a girl, while simultaneously listening to her verbally tell him to stop, and that she's not interested. I do not CARE what her "body" says. I do not care about this insane bonding thing. Della might kiss him, but the fact that she is constantly yelling at him, and saying no, and telling him she's not interested, means Chase needs to go throw himself into a volcano for literally trying to see her nipples in one scene.

Dnf'd at 28/51.

A struggle

I am so disappointed with this book and struggled to get through it. The storyline had potential but fell flat for me which is frustrating since I really enjoyed the other books in the series. It seemed to repeat the crybaby, woe is me, defeatist attitude continuously throughout the book to the point in which it got annoying.

lots of action, but predictable with romance

you could tell that Della would dump Steve since she spent so much time with Chase. Didn't like this book as much as others, which I would've waited to buy
