Just SO SO,
The story was just ok. I finished it but it was lacking something. Took me over a week to get through a 7 hr book. Some of the thing Katie does is stupid, I really hate it when authors make the main character weak and just a silly girl. Don't want to be Debbie Downer but I might not listen to book 2. The narrator did a good job.

It's probably just me but the story just seemed to go nowhere. I was tired of all the detail with no progression of the plot. Well narrated though. Maybe it would be better if I read a hard copy as opposed to listening to an audio edition of this book.

I downloaded this one on a whim and I am glad I did. It was a good story. A couple of times I had to stop and think about specifics about the characters, but it was easy enough to follow. I would listen to another in this series!
