Paranormal romantic comedy novella. Hook at very end for next adventure.
Matilda’s office is overrun by a Demi-god with Cupid in tow. Apparently Cupid needs counseling. Before Matilda even realizes what’s going on, she is kidnapped by a bounty hunter and is driving across the States with a gun to her side and a miniaturized Cupid in her purse.

Wacky and off-the-wall, this “case file” is laugh-out-loud funny and raunchy in the best way. I loved the scene when she jumps up on the chair when little boy Cupid runs straight for Matilda. That’s she returning the interest of all the hot men around her, makes me really wonder where this series is going! I can’t wait for the next case.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Hollie Jackson. The performance was phenomenal in voices differences and timing. The humor came through clearly even listening to this at 1.5, which is my current preferred speed for easy listening.

I loved this "Unlovable" book

Matilda is so much fun as a character, the way she diagnoses almost everyone she encounters despite being a bit......special herself. Crixus is just a sex magnet and watching the bond form between Liam Matilda was heartwarming. Cupid was a riot as he went from cute to annoying to wow to wanting to throttle him. I was glad to see how his crises were solved. Hollie makes these character so fun and lifelike, a perfect narrator.

Short and fun!

This was a really fun story and great as an audiobook. It’s the first audiobook performed by Hollie Jackson that I’ve listened to and she did a great job. While this isn’t my usual genre to read/listen to, I enjoyed another series by Cynthis St. Aubin and then discovered that I had this book in my Audible library. It was LOL funny at times and was a fast-paced story that was a great introduction to this series.

Super Fun Book!!!

This book was so fun and entertaining I could not stop it until it was finished.
At times I was laughing so loud that I woke my husband up. The story is full of laughter, Romance and some mystery. Holly Jackson is the best at narrating, she brings the story to life. This is my first book by Cynthia St. Aubin and it will not be my last. I highly recommend this book, you will enjoy it as much as I did. I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Extremely Entertaining

I loved this book when I read it, so I knew I needed it in audio format too.
I was not let down. Hollie does a great job of bringing Cynthia's characters to life.
I will be anxiously waiting to get the rest of this series.
If you haven't had the chance to meet Matilda, Liam, Crixus, and Cupid, I would highly encourage you to grab this book. At just under 3 hours you can listen to it on a walk, or in the bath or waiting for dinner to cook.
Bravo to Hollie and Cynthia!

I peed a little

I laughed so hard through the entire thing. I'm really hoping that Cynthia St Aubin releases more of these asap because I'm saving my credits!

Omg!! I found myself laughing out loud so many times. I was getting funny looks from my coworkers. I found this book on accident, saw it was short and decided to give it a listen. I was in love... I am now going to listen to the rest of the series and cant wait for the rest of the Doctors adventures.

great short story

This audio bop was well read and made me laugh. I enjoyed the story line and highly recommend if you are looking for a cute romantic comedy. I will be buying the rest of the series

Hilarious

Never read/listened to her books before, but this won't be the last! Matilda was a great heroine & I would find myself laughing out loud while listening. The audio performance was excellent & had enough dry wit sound to her voice, you knew this was exactly how Matilda would sound.
