This podcast will take a deep dive into the wide variety of military units that served during WWII, both on the Allies and Axis. Here, I will discuss the training they went through, the unit's campaign, key battles, and include first hand accounts from veteran transcripts and memoirs. In the future, I hope to add a visual aspect showing the gear and uniforms of each unit, and maybe interview others who are well researched in other units.     Continuing on through France, the 4th ID advance slows due to the heavily defended hedgerows. The chaos of war becomes more and more apparent as the 4th ID help liberate Paris after 4 long years of occupation. Their advance continues onto the Siegfried Line.
