Publisher's summary

"We're free. I'm free. Never again will we have to face the Moonlight pack."

Beaten, punched, slapped, kicked, tortured. That was Celina's life with the pack who was supposed to take care of her. She was nothing but their slave.

And then one day, she decided that it had to stop. She would run away. And she did. And when she shifted, little did Celina know that she was the last pure white wolf in the world. Or that she was special. She just knew she was different.

Axel was everything the alpha of her old pack was not. He was strong, powerful, demanding. And apparently he was the only pitch-black wolf left in the world. When little Celina ran through his territory, he knew he was hers forever.

Running away seemed to be the best decision she ever made, but will a destiny that was foretold long before she was born rip her apart about things in her past? Or will she show everyone she's not the weak girl her old pack made her out to be?

Unique, Different, Found

Not a terrible story. Some parts seemed to a bit of a ramble but over all I did enjoy this book.

Unique and Wonderful

l received this trilogy as a lovely gift. The story line is great! The characters and the background of the story is awesome. I find myself thinking a lot about the characters as if they are my friends. I like how the author makes every character equally important. I just found this author and will be reading more of her work.

Loved it

This book was amazing. I think my favorite part were the moments where she talked to the listener, it wasn't just like she was reading a book, but telling the listener a story. I hated the fact of how Selena was treated so I was glad she ran away and found herself a better place. I found it amazing to see her grow as an individual once she felt safe and protected, especially once she learned who she truly was. I hate waiting to find out what happens next but this is what makes the book so good. Definitely looking forward to part 2.

Nonsense

Half of this story didn’t keep with the plots.. and I didn’t agree with the MC being 16 and all.. it was disturbing.. one min her old pack is falling apart and starving then they are able to go to war.. no sense at all.. and some of the stuff the characters said and did just didn’t fit and was so cringe worthy it was hard to listen to.. had promise but sadly fell short in my opinion

Cute

Although I was enjoying this book it didn't have any serious depth to it for me. It is a cute love story. I finished through chapter 26. A 16 yo tortured and abused by her pack before she gets desperate enough to run. Fate brings her to her mate and everything is just peachy. 17+

Possibly good series

This reads like a young author on her first or second book. If this is true, then it’s a really good start. I hope, that, like the twilight series, the author grows as she continues in in the books. I like the heroine, I like the alpha, and some of the side characters were wonderful. The werewolf world was original. The fight between good and evil was fine. Some of the problems are I don’t think the author has ever had a child, or talk to anyone who dead. The entire birth scene was just wrong. She had the mother, screaming and screaming, and the nurse telling her to go ahead and scream. In real life, humans are not told to fight the pain, but to work with it. In werewolf fantasies the author is free to make the birth any way she wants, but Wolves don’t usually struggle so hard with their pups, and it is unlikely that a nurse would be so in capable. My second issue is with the tense. I absolutely hate writing in present tense. It is so awkward and limiting, and forces the author to break a lot of grammatical rules. If you write in present tense all of the time the story feels very stilted. There are times when you may have to switch to something that happened before the time they’re talking about, but do you switch to past perfect, or or mentioned three days ago or three years ago, and continue with present tense? Writing in present tense creates so much confusion in the story, they can rip the reader out of the experience. The purpose of writing a story is to escape. The reader does not want to struggle to figure out what the author may have meant by whatever tense she did, or did not use correctly or incorrectly.
I sincerely hope that the author will write the other books in the series in the traditional third person past tense. And then maybe come back and rewrite the first book in past tense as well. I think she has something really good started here, but it just misses being great.

The narrator did a fine job. I could always tell who was talking by the various different voices the narrator was able to produce.

In Between

The storyline was interesting & the author is very creative. However, at times the story seemed rushed.

I didn't know if I would like it but I lived it and can't wait to read the next one. I would recommend this series to others.
